That might sound weird but 99,99% of popular french songs are rap songs. I think that’s something that a lot of people don’t know about France, but rap takes a big place in the culture. So there’s a LOT of french rappers but not a lot of french singers, at least popular singers;;;

 I can tell you some popular rappers in France, there’s Orelsan, Nekfeu, Vald, Damso, Booba, MHD, SCH, PNL, Kaaris, Bigflo & Oli an that’s all I have in mind! So if you don’t really like rap I’m very sorry;;;
