man ... I remember when I used to think that if I made 35k a year then I would have 'made it'. I could be comfortable and save money and not worry about bills and things would be great financially lmao

#[static]#i s2g i had more of a disposable income when i was only making 18k a year but that was 6 years ago #i scoot by now but i couldnt even tell you the last time i got take out or went out to a restaurant #its been yearsssss #the most frivolous thing i do is buy the occasional game or a dnd miniature lol #drives me nuts that we're expected to somehow be able to afford to live like this #i dont know a single person my age who owns a home and who isn't living with roommates #i just got my w2 and was surprised at how much I made considering how tight finances were this last year #apologies for the bitter post lol im just endlessly tired of capitalism and the way that you never have enough no matter what you do
