#just watched the first two episodes and they are great#Dream is perfectly straddling the line between mysterious otherworldly prince and arrogant self absorbed jerk#very accurate to the comics#Cain and Abel look great - not exactly the hair i pictured on Cain but then the comics had so many artists with distinct styles#the sandman#I like Lucienne/an too. great loyal servant who will criticize Dream to his face but don't you dare try to insult him behind his back#i like that Ethel has more character elaboration than the comics had space for#still deciding how i feel about the Corinthian apparently being the whole season long antagonist#i supoose it ties things together more than the episodic style of Dream retrieving various objects#looking forward to the Vortex and hiw that will tie in#Rose is def the kind of person who can be persuaded to kill the lord of dreams if he's threatening her or her grandma#you know what the Corinthian should just ask every single human character to help him kill Dream#he shows up 10 minutes late to talk to Constantine and then turns around before Dream sees him#i like that Dream was only vulnerable because he was out on an errand; really empasizes how big a fuck up Roger Burgess is
