The fact that the FL took in the ML when he was 16 while she was (I believe) 21-22 and they have a romance???? Not while he was 16, I believe he was over 18 when it began but STILL. I was hoping it wouldn't actually be romance and rather devotion turned toxic but ~no~ it's romance. It's so uncomfortable it makes my skin CRAWL.

And the fact that the FL took him in while he was starving and completely alone knowing it'd make him loyal to her is super creepy. This whole webcomic is so creepy.

The only other comic I know that made me so uncomfortable I had to stop was the one on Tapas where the two adopted siblings grew up together and still had a romance. Bc blood related or not, that's your sibling!!! It's weird!!!!!!!

It’s impressive how every chapter is a wham! bomb. Also, Dietrich totally saw it first, and it is very evident EVERY CHAPTER since Wilhelm grew a bit, but no matter the title or how much in denial Rein is, there is nothing tame about that feral guy. The tension from how much Rein just glosses over what is a very potent obsesion, and wondering what would happen if she ever stops finding it cute and shied from it. The sense that Wilhem is being so clever and careful, going for his own derangedly devoted brand of seduction. GAh!
