hey uh would you be okay w sharing what you remember about your dave i’m just trying to figure some things out rn i know i had a Thing w karkat but ive always felt like i was missing someone else too like my tl is p fuzzy especially after around act 4 or maybe the first part of 5 but something about ur canoncall feels rlly nostalgic n familiar anyway uh if you don’t wanna that’s chill i feel that uh shit it’s 5am idk what words are -tg

i was the shortest; karkat was 2-3 ish inches taller than me and dave's nose was purrobably even with the top of my head, so dave was taller than him

we passed clothes back and furth at random; i stole dave's CD shirt, dave stole karkat's sweater, i stole karkat's sweater, both of them stole my jacket, etc etc etc

we all slept in the same bed (most of the time, at least; i had nefur liked sopor much to begin with and karkat started to avoid it)

im purretty sure one night dave took a flying leap into bed when we were all trying to get sorted for the night. it was so immpurressively graceful but at the same time we all got tangled in the blankets and it took FUREVER to get fr33 damnit!!

our relationship betw33n the thr33 of us was really steady once we knew what the actual fuck we were doing. both dave and karkat struggled with it in the beginning but efurything worked out after a bit

i mentioned this a bit in the og post but dave very frequently would grab one of our hands in his and just. play/fidget idly with the fingers or lace his fingers with ours or just hold a hand in his two really gently.

dave had a pair of black skinny jeans he really liked. not sure if that helps as a specific but he had his Jeans tm damnit

dave called me leijon a lot when we furst met/were becoming friends/got closer. when we became matespurrits he called me nep! (karkat always called me nepeta)

im p sure we rolepurrlayed, but no clear mems of that

he loved singing! but the only time he felt fully comfurtable singing in front of someone else was like,,, in bed as we were all falling asl33p, or to comfurt one of us.

sometimes he would sing to calm himself down or comfurt himself (if he got to that point it usually meant he was in a purrticularly bad spot) and if one or both of us found him like that we'd join in and it worked like a charm

(side note troll voices were usually d33per, lower, or rougher than human voices, which to us sounded lighter and sw33ter. dave's was fairly high by human male standards. we both thought it was beautiful)

dave was purretty pale (or, he s33med to me, but my refurence point was other trolls and most other trolls were a darker grey than me so *shrug emoji*)

oh his hands were bigger than mine also. fingers maybe an inch longer than mine?

oh also also dave had a plain old navy red (what the fuck is that color called i dont know) hoodie that i esp loved

dave and i were the calm leg of the metaphorical matespurrit triangle lmao. we were a little more introverted so a lot of time we spent just chilling in the same room etc. think how a cat just sits in the oppawsite corner of the room as you so they can be nearby you but not be interacting with you constantly

dave and i clicked into the calm/easygoing thing really fast. it just,,, fit. we fit.

i grew up really physically isolated from the rest of alternia (vs like,,, having a lawn ring or w/e) and that was kinda hard to get ofur; i wasnt used to being around people for extended amounts of time so the time he and i spent chillin was refreshing

all thr33 of us bonded ofur surviving sburb/sgrub which is. obvious i guess

dave and karkat were fucking adorable together and i loved just. watching them interact

dave had his shades, his hair was white/light most of the time at least, about canon length, maybe a bit shorter
