i get this is a wild thing for ppl who dont know warrior cats to hear and sorry for that btw. but man every new thing i hear abt squirrelflight in the later books feels like the erins just trying their hardest to either make her suffer or demonize her (even tho iirc shes a fan fave regardless) and its like. man. leave her alone shes too good for yall

#being stuck in what seems to be an abusive relationship (which im aware is not the writers intention but the fact ppl picked up on the abusw #is still. wow)#the way they justify bramble being mean to her in arc 2 bc ‘’well shes annoying’’#the entire thing w ashfur just everything about that plotline #and then shes pressured and forced into lying to everyone about her sisters kids and then punished by everyone #INCLUDING the same people who forced her to do it (while also claiming shes a bad person for thinking its a bad idea!)#and then said kids take out their anger on her for well over a year while her mate also punishes her #and i didnt read broken code but apparently imposter bramble fucking physically hurt her and tried to torment and banish her??#and now in the new arc theyre having her be ‘’bitchy grandma who wants to hold her grandson back bc shes shrill and mean compared to calm #bramble’’#echoed voice #like. good lord the amount of vitriol the writers hold for her??? shes just a little guy #i think she should become a loner bc the clan system has just ruined her life and she has literally no one
