I did have a penpal who was really nice until he asked me to exchange pictures and after that I never heard from him again. (The sister who's the closest to me in age said it was because I was ugly... I was 12/13 maybe?) So not the best experiences with penpals.

AND OH DEAR ????? from what i know of having older sisters i guess that's an older sister thing to say ?? BUT THAT'S QUITE MEAN FOR A 12 YEAR OLD ???? 😭😭 I'm so sorry. I hope if u ever have another penpal it's simply a much better experience. also i hope that guy trips on a step today. just a minor inconvenience at least... He better watch his back...

my only penpals were in school for french so it'd just be like... a couple of letters back and forth . i think it only happened a handful of times not every year too so 😭 didn't build any lasting friendships through that. especially because it was pretty basic french/english LOL
