you know. as much as I'm a fan of all of lestat's wrongdoings in s1, there is a certain appeal to the idea that at least some of what louis/claudia said being untrue. for instance, I'd like to see lestat reading about that and throwing a fit
#in a way that's exactly what happens in the books iirc#but the domestic violence scene went further than his iwtv book shenanigans#i want that part to have been true (it feels distasteful to have a DV “misreport” as a plot twist imo)#but i also would like to see lestat seething at being misrepresented on purpose#😩😩😩
