BY THE BY, but somewhat unrelated, I'd like to send Edgar out to make more friends... I'd LOVE to see him chit-chatting with other peoples Narrators or OCs.. he's a friendly fella, he's just quite a busy one due to having such a big family sometimes!! BUT HE LOVES MAKING FRIENDS!! SO!!

Was thinking about maybe doing something to do with that.. maybe a little collab image of himb sat about, chatting away.. maybe holding hands, I DUNNO!!! FRIENSHIP!!!!

ANyway, YEAH!! I'm just. Going on a little ramble at this point JSVSJEBSJSBS. I'm tired, it's nearly 2am, SUE me!!!

My guy Chaoxiang!!! I don't have a full body of him atm because I'm still figuring out his outfit lol.

So, in the universe of the story he's in, Chaoxiang is a teenage boy who gets chosen one-d into becoming a superhero/magical boy by the powers that be. Every goes well, just standard teen superhero stuff, but uhoh!! At a key point in the story, Chaoxiang is fatally wounded in a climatcic battle. Luckily for him, he's in space (not gonna elaborate on that for rn) and he's lying and feeling out next to a giant goodly entity that grants wishes (I will iron out the details later). What his final breath, Chaoxiang wishes to redo the fight, no matter how many times it takes to defeat [bad guys] once and for all. But oopsies! As wishgranters usually do, the wish is misinterpreted and the deity takes "the battle" as the overall fight of good against evil and sends Chaoxiang back to a bot before he first got his powers.

Enter the multiple loops he finds himself thrown through. The loop resets each time the hero dies, and sometimes Chaoxiang isn't even the hero. Mostly it's him, but a couple other characters get their turn too. The loops are different like that, something slightly weird each time.

Everyone gets at least one go around on the hero role, except for Tsuki, Chaoxiang's childhood best friend and maybe kinda crush. Sometimes the two of them end up together, sometimes they don't, Chaoxiang experiences physical pain each time she dates someone who isn't him he loves her sooooo much. There was one notable loop, where they started dating but Tsuki then died tragically. Overcome by grief, Chaoxiang elected to restart the loop rather than live without her (read: he offs himself)

The events of the main story take place on the 99th loop (100th interaction of events) and this is the first loop where Tsuki ends up the hero.

Hi! Glad to meet you! You like Konro, so how do you think would he be like when sick? Would he pretend everything is fine or actually let his s/o take care of him? I wish you a lot of inspiration and fun while writing!

Hi anon!!! Glad to meet you too!! And I do love me some Konro, you are absolutely right...

I think Konro’s default is to pretend everything is Okay™️, and he’s especially practiced since he’s struggled with tephrosis for so long. Illness effects him one of two ways:

1. He’s only *a little* affected and largely able to hide it - except for you of course, you can always see the subtle strain in his face and hunch to his shoulders. The deep exhaustion he tries so hard to hide, even from himself. He feels like absolute trash and *really* struggles to be present and do what he needs to, but it - is - HARD. By evening he is utterly depleted and may even turn in early. Beni always understands.

2. He’s out. He’s just out. KO, down for the count, can’t even move. He is utterly overcome by misery and just... cannot. He won’t leave his room, and will request Beni not allow visitors. Beni knows what this means and tries to help, but Konro struggles with the idea that *HE* should be strong and capable for *BENI*, that he’s thrust so many unfair things on him and now he’s stuck with his destroyed ass - so needless to say he’s incredibly stubborn about accepting help.

I’d like to think Konro becomes comfortable enough that his partner can read him more deeply than he’d ever be able to mitigate he accepts your help. He knows you’ll always see through his facade and eventually understands that denying your help is robbing both of you of important experiences and relief. You *want* to help, you don’t feel obligated but he finally understands that if he’s hurting you’re hurting, and anything you do to soothe him soothes you too.

I think in either situation he’d begrudgingly allow you to help, and especially as his trust in you grows - he’ll likely even seek you our if he’s feeling unwell or having a bad day. You become one of the few things that can reach through the pain and misery and touch his soul enough to soothe it.

I guess what I’m saying is at first, he’ll be proud and stubborn but he’ll acquiesce because it’s the most logical and pleasant option for everyone. Once the relationship is established, he’s a giant baby and completely loses all inhibition when it comes to being *utterly* pathetic in his need for comfort. Himb baby, let him be baby 🥰 He never did get to be baby much, but I think he needs it now more than ever 🥺
