Just found this the other day, has an amazing sound imo. Most rock is just grating to my ears but then exceptions like this remind me not to dismiss the genre. Especially since it seems to be just far enough out of mainstream that we frequently get full length songs - this one is 5:12 - and not just the 2:57 songs that get pushed in pop music because they don’t require the audience to pay attention for any serious span of time.

“Memories hidden // Deep inside // Broke the surface // Killed your pride”

Like seriously. Those lines go hard

There’s something specific about “inside” specifically, during the pronunciation of “-ide,” where the voice sort of… warbles? Fluctuates? “Shake” is the wrong word because it’s clearly controlled. But it sounds absolutely EPIC. I just don’t know if there’s a proper musical term for it (there probably is).

Anyway. Remember to try new things! There are so many things you could be falling in love with waiting to be found.
