#our house is next to a river which means our yard is constantly flooded by turtles#it used to be ducks but then the duck mod broke and made fish stop spawning#because there were so many ducks that took up the aquatic spawn cap#but never despawned so eventually the fish disappeared#so we got rid of the duck mod which was really depressing bc theyre cute af and there's a patpat button#but now we are being overrun by turtles#which is about the same except we get far less eggs in our yard and also fish still exist#and these ones are bucketable so i can keep a stash of shiny ones in buckets in my backpack :)#i wish the tank upgrade for my backpack let you put bucketable mobs in there#i wanna have a backpack aquarium#also would be a really useful way to do things like store axolotls for ocean temple battles
