detective pikachu was admittedly an alright movie all things considered but it spoke to a very core child part of me that has always wished so desperately that pokemon were real and i could have one (for real)

#if that movie came out when i was a kid im telling u rn i would 10000% be convinced that pokemon were real for real #pokemon is one of those things i might not be obsessed with to the point of making fanart or even owning merch #but is just fundamental to me as a person #i love pokemon so much dude #i wish they were real so bad id kill for a turtwig of my own #i love seeing pokemon stuff where ppl and pokemon just interact casually its the best #the entei movie is my fav for many reasons but especially for the opening sequence with ash battling a random person #it felt so fun and relaxed #anyways.. pokemans..#skeletal chatter
