soma’s Midnight Rhapsody outfit absolutely slayed for no reason. how did this obscure little gacha game manage to convey soma cruz in 2036 better than Dawn of Sorrow?

it manages to be simple like the DoS outfit, but there are these little details that give off this futuristic feel. i look at this outfit, and i’m like, “yeah, people dressing like this in the future seems reasonable”.

#he is serving seto kaiba realness ngl #also this is not to say that soma isn’t already drippy as hell #i feel like they were trying to make a ‘timeless’ outfit that wouldn’t become dated years after DoS dropped. but i don’t think it landed.#but then because we currently a lot closer to the time DoS is set it’s a lot easier to predict what fashion will be like #i can find soma’s DoS outfit in my closet but i feel like i need to wait for his MR outfit to be made #<- i hope that part makes sense #my will to live now hinges on a time-accurate soma cruz outfit #i would love for castlevania to survive until 2036 XD #BUT LASTLY THO i think the reason why the outfit looks that way is because of the artstyle #i’m really sorry for rambling like this. this is the outfit ever and i love it so much
