@pineconnie's skulk au got me guys... director skulkfies and parrot be upon you (400 words)..

Parrot had finally killed the Director. Parrot had killed Wifies.

He now stood, axe still in hand, over the corpse of his best friend. It had all happened so suddenly, Wifies had been leading Parrot away from their cabin and off somewhere and threatened BAT, somehow things had escalated and they had ended up fighting. It had been a decently easy fight. Wifies had never been that good at pvp and Parrot didn’t think he was trying to kill him. He had managed to get a few good hits in and Parrot had a few nasty gashes but nothing that would be fatal. Nothing like the massive headwound Wifies was now sporting.

Parrot wasn’t sure what to think about his former friend's death as he splashed experience bottles at his feet to repair his armor. As his gaze flickered from the durability of his armor, to the snowy mountains in the distance, and to a brief flash of dark blue spattered against the stark white of the snow below him. Before he could look down he felt a hand grab onto his boot.

Parrot jumped back from the hand and slipped falling onto the snow, landing painfully on one of the gashes Wifies had so kindly given him.

It took him a moment to recover from the fall and look around but when he did Parrot was face to face with Wifies. This was the first time Parrot had seen him up close, but he was almost certain the skulk that had crept over his hair and part of his face was recent. It was almost enchanting how the glowing bioluminescent particles sparked in waves over his face. Somehow it complimented his features perfectly, the pulsing glow was perfectly in sync with the subtle shifting parrot had always seen in his eyes. He looked enchanting, as if he had been created specifically for the skulk to someday consume.

While he was distracted Wifies had removed the somehow unbroken bottle of enchantment from his hand and tossed it between them.  

The skulk crept further over Wifies face in the same wave-like way it glowed. As he watched Parrot felt something crept up into the wound on his arm, it wasn’t painful in fact it eased the pain slightly but felt odd.

Wifies reached over and cupped his face ever so gently despite Parrot's attempt on his life, “You’re not leaving me now.”
