i haven’t spent christmas with anyone else in so long, i haven’t spent christmas morning with anyone else in SO long and i don’t think i’ve ever been in charge of christmas breakfast before! cinnamon rolls, cardamom buns, stuffed brioche french toast, blueberry pancakes, too many options! much to think about

#YES i am thinking about breakfast days ahead of time. this is my me time #i’m leaning toward the cinnamon rolls bc i can prep them ahead and then just pop them in the oven and the whole place will smell so lovely #but i also kinda wanna do the french toast just bc i’ve never made brioche before lmao#i’m also planning to make sugar cookies tomorrow #i’ve got two doughs in progress #and some lovely ginger persimmon muffins but not particularly for christmas just because!#but i also don’t know if Bookstore’s gonna bring anything or want to make anything here bc they bake too!#it seems weird to let someone i’ve known for such a short time be part of such a big holiday but #it doesn’t FEEL weird #this year has been so stressful and it’s so cold out and i just want to be cozy and warm and happy and #it’s very easy to feel that way with them
