heyy!!!!!!! Ok so I promised acappella (did i? .... eh) so! I'm basically gonna take this as my chance to rant about my group and my friends <3333 (if this does end up being too annoying, genuinely i'm sorry, i just get excited abt it too much and i like talking abt it l o l )

ok so BASICALLY i am in this acappella group at my school, and we have 13 different ones so some of them have different themes so my group does music from movies, tv series, video games, and musicals [AND!!!!!!! something i recently proposed----- podcasts hehehehehhee bc i have sooooooooo many podcast song suggestions for our rep] anyway there's like 18 of us and it's really fun and everyone is just so lovely and kind. (i promise i'm not gonna talk abt everybody, just the ppl i'm like closest with)

the person who's probably the closest friend i've made so far in college is also an alto, and i love her so much, she's so wonderful. she's sort of boisterous and really caring and a very good actor. she's super nice just to chill with, and at the same time it's always so much fun talking to her. once at rehearsal during an audition i was having a tic attack and she noticed what was going on and said that she could help me out if i needed it, which was so weird but nice bc most of the time when i'm having tics, ppl aren't mean exactly but they definitely don't really know what's going on. she also has an AMAZING singing voice, and she did a killer solo on I'm Still Standing our first semester there. she's just so beautiful and the kind of person that you feel comfortable around just by the way she is

when i was running for music director, there was another freshman that was running for the job as well, which was stressful but also-- really so cool, bc she's so smart and talented and experienced, and so vibrant like just as a person too. she also has a killer singing voice (ofccccc) and the most expressive, commanding performance energy. when the rest of the group was discussing who they wanted to vote for (our group in particular amongst the thirteen is infamous for discussions) we were both super nervous!! and hanging out in the hallway talking about our goals for the group, and we both have so many of the same ideas about stuff like vowels and dynamics and like general technique, it's just been so exhilerating to get to talk to her and know her! i really hope that in the next election she runs again so we can work together officially!!! she's also an artist and her art is so good :DDD

ok last person i'm gonna go in detail abt---- my co-md, who i actually did not really like when i joined the group. just sort of like did not vibe with him initially, but getting to spend more time with him i actually really do enjoy talking to him and hanging around, esp now that we're working together! it's been a stressful semester acappella-wise due to a sudden and weird resignation from our former long term md, but me and him preparing to take over now that our remaining md graduated, it's honestly just been so fun. he's so smart at music theory, and i feel like our different strengths just work really well together when we're leading. one of the things i was most stressed abt in becoming md was having to take charge, esp as an underclassman leading upperclassmen, but he's been so open to all my thoughts and suggestions, and whenever i'm feeling anxious abt getting people's attention or being too pushy, he makes sure everyone is on the same page, which i think is really nice. we had group karaoke once and we sang teenagers by mcr together lol

anyway so now i'm going into my first official semester as co-md with a killer new rep selection, with one song that i'm co arranging which is so exciting!!!!! i just really love everyone i've met in acappella and every bit of music we've put together.

LUFFY – (first impression) funny monkey guy who RULES!! my #1. i loved his conviction and sense of "right" being people should be free to do what they want. (now) FUNNY MONKEY GUY WHO RULES. idk what else to add his portrayal has been so consistent even over the years, and so has my delight in him :]

ZORO – (first impression) fun but not as cool as luffy. kind of faded into the background for me with luffy commanding most of my attention. don't really get his deal lol. (now) brain chemistry has been altered forever. somehow overtook luffy as my fave?? i don't even know how that happened. i want to be him, i want to be with him, i need to study him, i need to rotate him in my brain forever

BLACKBEARD – (first impression) surprisingly profound tenets about the age of dreams still being alive. still kind of a weird guy. i enjoyed that he and luffy were complete opposites in stupid ways but shared a core belief. (now) i need him dead. why are you as a man with a RAFT for a ship messing up everyone's business like that.

BEGE – (first impression) i genuinely thought the little guys he kept on him were just that size (like gulliver's travels-esque). yes i'm stupid but also i was eleven. (now) FAMILY MAN... i really love his godfather vibe and his role in whole cake. can't say no to a wife guy who is ruthless at his day job <3

BONNEY – (first impression) LOVE how loud and unapologetic she was. saluting her common sense rip zoro you could never be her. (now) intrigued w her backstory ... i've only gotten up to the part where she's seen what they've done to kuma... really excited to learn more abt what's up w that

HAWKINS – (first impression) cool asf powers.... is he just as cool... i will stay tuned to find out. (now) ngl he's a bit of a pathetic wet blanket to me but his whole vibe still goes hard.

APOO – (first impression) this guy is really annoying i need him outta here. (now) this guy is really annoying in the funniest possible ways. blow their ass up with piano!! tumpet!! BWAAA

KID – (first impression) LOOKS SCARY... really cool powers but kind of annoying :/ luffy is literally cooler than you. (now) i truly don't know his deal but i like his scrappiness and loyalty to his crew. his powers are REALLY cool.

KILLER – (first impression) masked character with curved blades on his arms. instantly fell in love. cooler than his captain, get him more panels please. (now) sorry for pitting you against kid like dat... do not separate these two... i was so sad to see him w his mask off :( like an angel w/o wings.... to me....

OROUGE – (first impression) you. are weird. (now) IS HE RELEVANT ANYWHERE? I DON'T REMEMBER WHERE HE'S AT.

X DRAKE – (first impression) COOL DESIGN... an ex-navy pirate was such an intriguing concept to me. i wonder if no-one can trust him because he turncoated the navy... (now) TRUST NO-ONE. LAW – (first impression) genuinely unsettling but he looks like he fumbled his wardrobe so bad. already could feel like sliding off my psyche luffy is literally right there. (now) unfortunately obsessed w him. i want to make more art/fic for him bc i have very specific thoughts about what he did in the timeskip. he's also the right level of goofy balanced w edgy that makes him very endearing to me....

following in the vein of nervous-but-excited-newly-pregnant-couple them going to foolish's prenatal care appointments and taking his health like super seriously. also ultrasounds. i dont think either of them would Cry cry but theyd maybe get a little teary eyed lookin at their kids for the first time

on some more classic omegaverse bullshit: punz had always been a bit possessive/protective as a partner and that very much continues once theyre mates and foolish is pregnant. like really frequently is holding his hand or has an arm around him, tries to be really doting and get him whatever he asks. not as common when theyre in public but one of his fave things to do is hug foolish from behind with his hands on his stomach

i'd imagine they have a few arguments esp when foolish is hormonal and does/says shit that annoys punz and he cant understand why. they work it out tho, bc they love each other <3

in the time leading up to foolish's due date his nesting instincts go crazy. theres nests everywhere in the whole house. when hes not sitting chilling in a nest hes making a new one or readjusting one

(this one is real long bc it is a vaguely drafted out scene oops) foolish's water breaks on stream/at least when he's in vc on someone else's stream bc like. i deffo think it would. u think this man would take a break? like the streams would get shorter especially as his hormones and instincts get more fucky but he would still be trying to be on that grindTM. and (bcuz this is the part i actually vaguely researched) he's been having like the irregular not actually real contractions (theres a name im forgetting it rn) so hes gotten used to just like feeling them, noting when the time is, and brushing it off when it doesnt happen again. so he's in vc with someone, i'm thinking tina lets just say tina, and he's in the middle of laughing really hard at a joke, but abruptly cuts off his windexing when he feels the whole "rush of fluid" thing and is all like o_o and tina's all like "foolish? you okay?" when he stops laughing like that and foolish is like "uh. i think my water just broke?" which makes tina go all "wait What?! like- like the baby's coming?" "yeah" "foolish!" (chat is freaking out. monkaS monkaW fukW) "shouldnt you like, go to the hospital?" "yeah, uh, bye chat!" (chat has been yelling at him since he said his water broke to end stream) he yells for punz who ofc comes rushing into the room like "whats going on do you need something" and when foolish tells him his water just broke he starts freaking out a little and then foolish has a contraction right then (is that realistic timing tbh its been a while since i did that google search. what i do remember is that theres apparently apps for timing contractions like isnt that neat. anyways) but then theyre like "sorry tina bye!" and then tinas like "good luck!" (is that a normal thing to say idk. even if it isnt it could be funny hashtag awkward girl swag /affectionate) and then they like drive to the hospital and stuff

i just have this image of like the night they come back from the hospital both of them in their nest with the babies laying between them oughhhhhh

listen i just think this is really cute but punz sitting on the edge of the hospital bed while foolish is in labor so he can lean into him and calm down with his scent

actually thought abt it a bit more and mayb this is more general omegaverse hcs but like i think omegas would have an instinct to give birth in a nest which obv is harder to do while also having the support of modern medicine in a hospital but maybe it is more normalized to bring some blankets/pillows/clothes/what have you to make a lil temporary nest in the hospital bed

foolish is way more absentminded/no thoughts head empty than usual (like forgets what hes saying in the middle of a sentence bad) bc of fucked up hormones pregnancy brain

he tries having one or two blankets wrapped around him on stream to be sort of like a temporary nest when his instincts start going wacky. sometimes it works sometimes he accidentally gets too sleepy and begrudgingly admits that he should probably end stream bc he can barely think thru the omega nesting instinct brain fog

actually on that note i think there a couple of times where punz basically forces him to take a break from streaming. it never lasts very long

i have decided that the timing of their baby is such that foolish is like 7/8 months when christmas rolls around bc i was at family christmas brainrotting what it would be like for them to have like cute domestic family christmas while foolish is still pregnant. he falls asleep on the couch leaning against punz's shoulder after dinner its very cute

they maybe do a thing where like they have christmas with one family on eve and one on day and have a slightly chaotic nighttime flight? do the flight times work out for that idk. but its bc their families wanna see them bc theyre all excited for the baby awwww

wait just remembered the whole scene i had imagined for this where they land in mass super late at night/early morning and once they get back to punz's parents house p much immediately go to bed but foolish cant sleep bc the babies keep moving and kicking and punz scootches down so hes all curled up next to his tummy and purrs at them so that they calm down and foolish can sleep

at the end of his pregnancy foolish is just like capital d Done like get these babies out my back hurts im tired my belly is fuckin huge. ive got tits now

punz very happily gives him back massages tho <3 even if he sometimes gets overdramatically whiny about it first

foolish is one day horrified to realize none of his usual foods are appealing and he is instead craving some weird ass food combo

when foolish starts showing more and its gonna be harder to hide on stream they do a cute lil classic pregnancy announcement photo where punz like has his hands around him on his belly (maybe taken by karl? or someone? i just realized i have no idea where i hc them living like i guess its always been vaguely nc but idk if thats like. necessary? idk whatever) but im imagining the one they end up posting isnt even one of the ones they were posing for its like a candid one where theyre looking at each other over foolishs shoulder or like laughing or something idk its cute its not staged and weird lookin

oh also at some point punz convinces foolish to do a maternity photoshoot (well kind of. its just punz taking pics of him in his underwear bc he maybe has a Thing for heavily pregnant foolish) and at first foolish feels kinda embarrassed and silly and punz keeps complimenting him and making him flustered (i have a couple of lil doodles of this + a few other ones related to this au in a sketchbook somewhere but i dont feel like digging them out + taking pics rn ajfsbajskb)

final note would like everyone to know as i was typing this foolish lost his water bucket in mc and he phrased it like "my water just broke" and chat was all like "wow congratulations whos the father." like what are the chances. also why is he like this. also can u really blame me for making this au when he is like this

You are going to see them live?! I hope you have a great time!!! The live clips that I've seen of them are amazing, so I'm sure that they'll be unbelievable (heh heh) to see in person. Can I ask, how did you come to discover them? What was it that attracted you to them?

It shocked me to find out that Yechan was the oldest and I love it. I really like his energy! He was actually what initially drew me to the band! I was aware that there was a band that had a violin and as someone who has played it from a very young age I was interested but I never actually did anything with that info lol. Then when boogie man came out, it came up on my yt and I decided to watch it. Fell in love with it, but when Yechan's solo came up I was so impressed (I made my mum watch it too, she taught me violin lol). I then decided to listen to more of their music and fell in love with them and here we are lol.

It pains me to think that I will never meet a man like Sangyeop in real life 😭 He really does seem like the best. How is he even real??

Wonsang really is the cutest oh my goodness. I love him so much! I showed my dad one of his bass solos (my dad plays bass, drums, guitar) and he was disgusted but impressed that he could play a 6! String! Bass! with such ease and sound so good. They really are a stupidly talented group, what I give to have even a smidge of their talent 😭

Now that you've said it I do kind of get boomer vibes off Gwangil ahaha. I love how goofy he is, but I also completely relate to him cringing at the others (I had the same reaction to aegihae(?) ahaha)

I'm happy to say that I have listened to most of the songs that you suggested! The solo in you're right is absolute perfection! I love how they have such a wide range of songs and sounds and somehow they suit them all! I've heard some of the solo songs (I am emotionally attached to the intro of domino), but I will definitely listen to the rest of them!

I don't know if I'm weird for doing this, but when I watch vids of them I can't help but wonder what they'd be like as my brothers lol. Not that there's anything wrong with mine, but after seeing gentlemen like them, mine could maybe be a little nicer sometimes? I feel like they'd all be very teasing, but caring. Gwangil and Yechan 100% seem to be the teasing type. Wonsang would be the nicest, I've seen him talk about his cousin and it's so cute. actually an ex-friend of mine got me into them. originally i think she showed me flowering but that wasn't enough for me to stan them. what got me was snooze/play because i stanned right when play came out. i still cry when i hear play lol. idk why i didn't stan just cause of flowering?? to this day i feel like i have to be in the right mood to listen to it, its never been a favourite of mine in lucy's discography but i do appreciate it. i've also watched Superband for lucy and god wonsang is such a genius, watching it probably tripled my respect for him :( the way he arranged everything and made lucy unique from the other bands there by adding ambient noise to their covers and then eventually their original songs just gets me every time 😭 i love him (i'm so subtle abt the bias aren't i?)

yechan is so impressive!! he's also part of the reason that i was especially interested after my friend showed me some stuff because yechan is classically trained and before kpop i was always into classical music because of my dad. i played piano (mostly bach & scarlatti) so i loved seeing a band that incorporated a more classical instrument into a band setting.

THIS tbh like how is sangyeop real hes literally such a sweetheart and HIS VOICE. his personality offstage and his charisma on stage genuinely makes my mind spin. idk if you've seen the live performance of never in vain in particular but istg he was on something that day 🧍‍♀️ and i did not survive it lol

wonsang is literally insane... i love everything about him, his talent, his personality, his adorable little laugh. he's not real like i'm convinced i made him up cause NO WAY. even his singing voice is so nice and cute :( if you go to his instagram he has a lot of short little covers on there too and i just.... yeah he's really insane god. (also would recommend you watch the live clip of enough because wonsang plays a double bass in that and i may be very in love with him....)

lmao i had no other way to even describe it other than boomer 😭😭 he's just got an old soul and i feel him so much. but i swear he is so underrated in the group :( seeing him on Superband, he originally auditioned as a vocalist and could play guitar as well. and throughout the show he played bass, keys, and eventually landed on drums because the team needed a drummer and he had a tiny bit of past experience. the fact that hes the drummer for the team now is ???? and he sings and plays the drums at the same time LIKE THATS SO FUCKING HARD TO DO MY RESPECT FOR HIM IS INSANE.

and if you ever are interested in watching superband (would recommend it if you like band music, it's great and not as toxic and competitive as other survival shows. the panel of judges was great too, including suhyun from akmu who i adore) i have the google drive with all episodes subbed <3 there are some legendary lucy performances on there and some of my other favourite band men (mainly ha hyunsang who has the best voice ever. he performed viva la vida in a team with yechan during the first round and they're still friends to this day i believe. sometimes they perform the song again lol their arrangement was so good and hyunsang's voice was just perfect for it)

omg i just read the 5th chapter of your fic and i wanted to say that i LOVE it!!!

So i saw your post abt it yesterday and started reading at like midnight and i can not get enough!! Good thing it's a tuesday so i didn't have to wait long for an update hh

I love the way you write katie and how she feels to me like a real person, i know you said that at first many people would think that she's an annoying bossy teenage girl, but also, i've been there!! i was also the teenage girl who hated the troublemakers and was scared of breaking the rules (except i couldn't yell at them)

This is just my personal opinion but her bonding moments with the apollo cabin were for sure my favourite scenes, i just love them in general and i get do excited seeing katie interact with one of them!! i'm trying not to spoil here for future readers but the beach scene was so immaculate and definitely in my top 3!! on the other hand, the infirmary scene,...

I know this story is like a tratie endgame, but at several moments i was sooo convinced that katie's gonna have a thing or a moment with someone (which proved *mostly* wrong hh) so i'm still waiting to see how this plays out

Back to me saying how real these relationships are, i love how you convey all these complexities and emotions between campers, while also not forgetting that they're still SOOO young and most of them immature and WILL get into petty fights, but even then, there's still this sense of unity between them, or a camaraderie built by their shared experience (and trauma lol)

i'm looking forward to seeing how the demeter arc is gonna play out, but also what happened after the bday party (again trying not to spoil) and how idk i'm feeling there is some tension and doubt abt some campers' loyalties and their behaviour (katie would kill me for that). I feel like you've been building up for them in the last chapter so i can't wait for everything to blow up in our faces!!

Anyways this is getting pretty, and i still have soooo many stuff i have not mentioned (the last chapter actually brought me to tears, both happy and sad, and i could not be more glad about it) so sorry for clogging up your inbox, but i'm like very insane abt your fic so i had to scream at you about it!!

i also adore the apollo cabin and i promise there is more to come with the apollo kids! one apollo kid in particlar (not named for the Mystery, although it might be pretty obvious who) is about to become a lot more prominent in katie's life and he is genuinely one of my favourite characters in the whole fic so i am so excited to see what you think of him!! im so glad you liked the beach scene! it's also one of my favourite scenes and its so lovely to hear that it resonates!! the infirmary scene...unfortunatrly there might be more where that is coming from :'( the apollo cabin in the pjo series are so deeply tragic and so personal to me

Ok so ik ive been inactive for a *WHILE* and im srry for that but like i have a buncha things that happened these past 3 months that I NEED To share SOOOO....

First things first, the one im most excited abt: I DID MY FIRST PERFORMANCE!!! My school was doing little mermaid jr and I got Scuttle! I was really happy to get my first role and getting at least one solo, and Im just happy overall on how it went! I think I did really good on my first try! Only bad thing was that now im kinda going through my lil mermaid hyperfixation and have been looking up fics where Sebastian and Ariel kinda have a Father/Parental Figure-Daughter or Older Brother-Younger (stupid but ultimately well meaning) Sister dynamic and have started to write a fic on that bc no ones done it before apparently😒(im going cray cray, bonkers mayhaps)

Might've gotten my eye infected(I live in the east of the us, new york to be more specific and woke up the day after the "live vintage (BLAME CANADA/j) filter" with my right eyes nerves slightly more irritated and haven't gotten that checked out so thats fun)

FINALLY finished that one drawing ive been making for 3 MONTHS.(well, technically....)

Almost done writing my passion project, AKA the one I originally wanted to make into an animated series but have settled for a book just in case that can't happen! I still need to work out some kinks, design more outfits, get all their personalities in check, make sure the world and magic is fully fleshed out, ect.

I also do band, and while I originally thought that I would have a problem bc of both band and theatres close scheduling(i originally had dress rehearsal on june 2nd, AND my band concert on June 2nd) but it all worked out in the end! My band concert went great, and while the dress rehearsal was a mess, we at least got through it! :)

Unintentionally quit SH! I was originally only meant to stop until AFTER performances, but ive been bettering myself and learned that if I ever want to forgive myself or at least move on I gotta stop feeling sorry for myself and not forget nor forgive, but remember, i just can't let it haunt me. I know I'll relapse, I always do eventually, but I want to enjoy these few moments of mental "clarity" while I can. I've also learned that for some reason i tend to become a more terrible person and despicable person the more time I spend at home with my mother, so that's fun. God, I hate America's education system, its messed me up BAD. AND the foster care system. I just tried to kms 2 times today, and she didn't even notice, or care. How sad is that?

On a lighter note, yes, as the rest of yt and TikTok, I got a minor lil hyperfixation on the Lorax and really think ppl should make more [PLATONIC] Lorax and Onceler dynamics, mainly the type where they're like some really annoying pair of bickering siblings or a father whos sick of his adopted child's shit, like there is so much on the table for platonic fluff and angst and most of what I've seen is romantic smut and fluff like CHANGE IT UP A LIL

Also, Ive been going to karaoke centers on Tuesdays and have become a lot more confident to performing in front of ppl! So far, I've performed "All You Wanna Do", "The Ballad of Jane Doe", "Heart of Stone", and am gonna do "What the World Needs" the next upcoming Tuesday, where I'm gonna try interacting with the audience while singing!!

(Also, before I end this....I may have ADHD??? my teacher who has ADHD says some of my behavior is "similar to hers"(i feel like thats just her way of saying i reek of neurodivergency) and I also did some research and I display similar/exact behaviors listed, have taken online tests from doctorate confirmed sites and basically all of them said to go get a diagnosis. I also found I do a few behaviors similar to stimming! Also also, I kinda suspect a lil more bc my mom has Autism and apparently sometimes neurodivergency is biological (i forgor the word) but my mom is kinda in denial abt my Depression diagnosis and thinks I got anxiety "biologically", so if I tell her I wanna get tested for ADHD shes just kinda gonna gaslight me into not believing that and i already told the school therapist and basically she just told me that I'm probably just imagining things or copying behaviors from my mother and that "kids like to give themselves all these titles nowadays" so I just did what I always do which is to keep it shut and act until they think you fell in line)

I want to rant a little, guys:)

So, i've been in the CSM fandom since 2019 and all was good and well in the early years. But the storm seems to sweep the fandom in the current years especially after the anime was released around six months ago (i guess). Somehow i found a pattern of some CSM fans glorifying their series and they all think that their series is the second coming of Christ. They connect everything irl w/ CSM and they becoming as annoying as the other major shonen fandoms (i don't wanna drop a name). In other words, they becoming sooooo annoying i think i can't stand them anymore. The only thing i care in CSM for now is Asa Mitaka and she doesn't even appear in the earlier chapters. I feel like i am not invested in this whole "apocalypse" schtick that Fujimoto wrote. I don't even care abt the Public Safety anymore cuz for me it's just the relics of the past and Denji? What about him? Idk since Part 1 ended i feel neutral abt him...it's just doesn't hit the same anymore it's flat (i'm sorry Denji fans).

But i welcome and even always got excited when my online friends post CSM fanarts with their cool arts! I love it when artists get creative. Even if the majority of the fandoms become annoying and unbearable, creative artists w/ their cool fanarts are always welcome (except all those weird p0rn and f3t1sh3s artist :(((

In conclusion, is it true if i lose interest in CSM? Well, kinda. Am i gonna leave the fandom? Not for now.

It started when they met, now it's as mich of daily occurence as Suegiku bickering, because they're both cocky and very smart: they keep trying to out-do each other but it's more of a "smart kids who will be there for each other when needed" kinda way; maybe Jouno brings him lunch if he's working full-time at the ADA one day???

It's so sad how I already have Fukuchi's downfall planned out and Ranpo is going to come out of it more scarred than ever: spoilers aside, their relationship is really sweet, to the point that Ranpo's 2nd nickname is "The Captain's Lapdog", and has the same reaction to praise from him as he does with Fukuzawa back at the ADA.

- it depends on what they’re doing. if someone pops up because they notice pinterest and they want to scroll for project ideas, that wouldn’t kick me out, but if my cohost wants to talk to his boyfriend that would. depends how private it is. also with our being median it’s a much more smooth/gradual switch, so it’s not usually super jarring necessarily

- SCHEDULING. everyone has different things they want to do and different places they want to go and different friends they want to talk to and it’s almost impossible to manage 😭 imagine you only got to have part of your day to live your own life because the rest of the day has been divided up equally so everyone gets to talk to their own friends. normally you’d just talk to your own friends without much issue! (and we’re super bad at diving it evenly as well. some people get way more time to do what they want than others)

- also, clothing. it sucks to be so unsure about clothing because everyone wants something different but also you don’t want to ruin your progress with correct gendering with family members or whatever… it’s a whole thing

- everyone’s doing pretty neutral today, been kind of a rest day since we’re off work :] nothing bad

- reading homestuck was extraordinarily fun for me! but to be honest you mostly get out of it what you bring to the table, so unless you’re already excited about specific aspects, it might be a drag. personally i love it obviously and would recommend
