#i've been really loving the eight-pointed star motif for probably five to seven years now#it started with heavily Dominican associations but is leaning just into something i love in its own right#especially the version that's sort of compass rose/star of bethlehem'y#it feels poetic#it helps you navigate a path (compass rose)#it points you towards Christ (star of bethlehem)#it represents the resurrection (eighth day)#anyway. nobody cares except me
