Who gives the other person cool looking rocks?markus. sometimes they’re actually neat, sometimes it’s “here, this is the ugliest thing i have seen ever and i’ve been to hell” “well i like it even more now so there”

Who wants to take lots of pictures of them together?ballast. duck face master. markus want to call him ridiculous but somehow, infuriatingly, he makes it work

Who is excited to tell their friends that they are dating? they’re both dumb and like needless intrigue and drama so they’re almost more excited to be able to have a ~sordid forbidden romance~. no one actually ends up caring that much but it was fun while it lasted

How do they tell their friends that they are dating?they don’t…per se. ballast tries to do that cheesy move scene where he throws pebbles at markus’ window to get his attention but he may have overestimated the strength of that glass…

How do they comfort each other?ballast can usually make markus laugh, so he makes it his job to distract markus, even if only for a little while. ballast never outright admits to liking markus’ singing but every time he’s upset markus brings out his lute and plays for him

How do they want to dress their baby?they both have very…different fashion senses so their compromise ends up being surprisingly understated outfits, at least compared to what people expect from these two

Who likes to have dinner parties with their friends?ballast likes to make sure everyone in ear-shot knows that he, Balast McGee, nailed the hottest coolest most successful and overall best guy ever

Who is the prankster?constantly between the two of them. the only thing they’ve officially-unofficially agreed to not touch was each others writing. this will only end in tears

What is their most memorable date?because they’re both the way they are with each other, genuinely romantic gestures are even more surprising. so the first time ballast puts together an actual Date Nigh Dinner, w/ candles and the works, it’s the first time they admit that they’re actually dating and it’s sweet

What is an inside joke the two of them have?disgusting over-the-top and completely made-up pet names (”beautifully glazed butterball”). at least they think they’re funny

Who likes to send the other memes?markus. ballast genuinely thinks they’re dumb so markus finds the very worst

Who still blushes when they say ‘I love you.’?markus, because every time he says it it’s a reminder to him that he is a Fool

Who do they leave their kid(s)/animals with when they go on a vacation?ashe, because they know she will be vigilante

Who is the protective one?markus shows it more, but remember that ballast created an entire career of trying to undermine markus’ writing for i don’t even know how long. that’s dedication. ballast will not let it go if you do something
