Sometimes being in a fandom seems to make people forget basic things. Like...
IT'S OKAY TO DISLIKE A LOVED CHARACTER.
and alternatively
IT'S OKAY TO LIKE A HATED CHARACTER.
Your like or dislike of a character is not a direct reflection of you as a person. I've found that (some) people in fandom spaces can get overparticular and start to use gross generalizations to assume a personas morality, ideals, or beliefs based on what fictional characters they like or dislike. Liking a "villian" in a story does not make you a bad person anymore than liking the "hero" makes someone a good person. Those words are suggestive by nature anyway.

The Second Season of Squid Game Was Good!
Color me surprised! I was honestly worried about how they would continue the story, but the 4 years they took to come out with a second season were not wasted. The social commentary on this one really got me thinking....

As someone who enjoys writing in 2024, I often worry about finding an audience. I think my insecurities and social media lead me to believe people simply don't read anymore. I know that's not true, however, whenever I write a post and I see that wall of txt I can't help but think..."Nobody's going to read this." Then I get sad.

Re-reading your work and realizing there is no revision that can save it, you just gotta burn it to the ground and rebuild from the ashes.

Oi vey! I've been working on another character analysis (on and off) for about 4 days now. Infinite revisions? Yes!! I'm determined to get it up sometime tomorrow!
Why the deadline? I dunno, no one is waiting on it, I just want to get it out of my system!

I've been blogging on and off for over 10years now. One thing that never gets easier is hitting the "post" button. If I had a dollar for every time I've gone back and revised a post, I might not need to work anymore.
It seems like there is always something to add, something to make clearer, or something to improve. I called this blog "Infinite Revisions" because that's my life. Infinite revisions! I'm starting to think it might be a problem!
