London, UK Apprenticeship Connect My client is one of the UK's largest marketing and brand promotion firms, working with big corporations such as Pepsi, Britvic and Cadbury and they are searching for an enthusiastic, ambitious and confident individual to join as a Staffing Executive/Booker Apprentice in their Camden headquarters. The firm is consistently recognised for its leading services, international status and its high profile partnerships. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone to kick-start their career in the business environment with one of the UK's principal marketing agencies. An apprenticeship is a form of employment in which an individual (apprentice) works towards a nationally recognised qualification whilst they are employed full time. Responsibilities will include: Account Handling Ensure you are in constant communication with the relevant team regarding the status of activity and request meetings where appropriateBe proactive in offering ideas / solutions for implementing staffing on a campaignProof read and double-check all documentation that goes out, whether it is to clients, staff, suppliers or internal communicationWork within budgets ensuring any overspend is signed off Staffing Management Show good knowledge of the Insight databaseWork closely with your Account Managers to ensure the activity schedules are fully staffed and reporting any issues to your Line ManagerEnsure we have all HR documentation in place for everyone that worksBe point of contact for all Event Managers on each projectEnsure you are familiar with staff on the database and updating staff details as appropriate Client Liaison, Management and Development Show competency and a good level of confidence dealing with client queries and reporting them to your line managerWhen in attendance, ensure contact reports are written and distributed within 48 hours of meeting with a client The successful candidate will have the following skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive attitude with the ability to use initiativeGood common sense and problem solving skillsCreative and passionate about ideasTeam player with a strong desire to do well and progress in the companyHappy to go the "extra mile" at peak and busy times and be willing to work outside of office hours Strong written and verbal communicatorHighly organised and efficient operator - strong admin & implementation skills are a mustPC Skills: ability to create PowerPoint presentations; demonstrate a good knowledge of Microsoft Packages, Paprika, Teletrack, Insight and other IT toolsTime management skills; ensure you have completed timesheets accurately and on time.
