Please please please play PLvsPW:AA. The game is amazing (for 90% of it, the ending gets really convoluted so it's only good by the end)

You have:

WITCHES

A very adorable dog called Constantine!!

An amazing storyline!! (Although it is most definitely darker than most Professor Layton games (I think?) and Ace Attorney games so yeah)

Lots of new game mechanics that you wouldn't find in any mainline AA game!! (Although you would find them in the DGS games which is to say get ready for the DGS localisation cos it's coming this year xx)

The cutscenes are REALLY well animated (there's this one scene with Professor Layton which I'm not gonna spoil, but if you know, you know)

I'm not going to speak on how good it is compared to other Professor Layton games cos I gave up a quarter through the first game and also I watched a playthrough so yeah BUT the puzzles do look very fun :))

It's set in a really ye olde something kind of setting so there's that too!

Cons:

Several plot holes

A lot of people hate the voice acting in the game, especially the voice acting for Maya and Phoenix, but personally I think it's fine so take that as you will

As you can see, the pros outweigh the cons so if you ever get the chance to play it, please do!!

I recently finished Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box for the second time and....

I'M VERY UPSET WITH MYSELF BECAUSE RIGHT AT THE END END JUST BEFORE OR PERHAPS AFTER THE CREDITS ROLLED I DONT REMEMBER BUT LAYTON SAID SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF

AND I JUST AIFBSOCJSK IMAGINE YEARS LATER WITH OLDER LIKE AND OF COURSE OLDER LAYTON AND LIKE GOES TO VISIT THE PROFESSOR AT HIS OFFICE STILL IN GRESSENHELLER UNIVERSITY AND ENTERS UNANNOUNCED, ASKS IF A CERTAIN PROFESSOR HERSHEL LAYTON WAS IN, AND LAYTON JUST RISES FROM HIS CHAIR OR THE COUCH IDK IF HE'D BE SLEEPING OR NOT AND GOES

"Luke? What brings you here?"

"Don't you remember, Professor?" *puts a hand to his cap like he always does* "One should always pay their respects to their teachers."

When Wilbur comes back to England, everything's changed and he can't seem to find his old friend. What's more, a chance encounter with someone through a mutual friend leads to more questions about what happened to his friend, where he is right now, and why does this person seem so familiar?

Two things hold permanence in Wilbur's mind: 1. Will he ever see his best friend again? 2. Will he be able to make up for the lost time between them?

How desperate are people for 5undy stories? I've never seen a story of mine grow so quickly after one day XD (okay maybe I have but I don't remember)

Oh well. I'm just going to extend the offer of would people like to see more? Someone brought to my attention that there canonically are flowerlings alongside leaflings and I kinda want to do something with them now! I'll see what people think first (including myself) and make a verdict after!
