hii i rly hope you can enlighten me w this. i haven't seen this mentioned anywhere besides one old af tweet but they said theres a note in one of the mgs art books about ocelot being so petite that he cant find his size often so pants look poofy on him. afaik its not in english. ive looked but never seen anything like that. i rly want it to be true bc it's kinda precious. there were no ss or anything unfortunately so idk exactly where it might be

hmm… i checked all the art books i know of that have comments/notes (mgs1-4 studio works, mgs4, and mgsv art books) and i don’t see anything like that 🤔

in mgs2, it’s just noted his pants in the plant chapter (where they’re not tucked into his boots) resemble riding pants. and his uniform’s pants in mgs3 are flared/‘puffy’ around the thigh area, a feature in a few military uniforms of that era (ocelot’s mgs3 design seems to borrow elements from a couple of different ones afaik but that’s a different topic)

so i don’t think there’s any notes along those lines, at least in the art books i have on hand, but maybe some fellow ocelot scholars might have more info
