The discourse is probably as old as this fucking community. It happens every other month and I am sick of it. “If you age up characters you are a pedo uvu sorry I don’t make the rules.” yes you do. You literally made up your own fucking rules about this. “Well you are shipping with a minor!” they’re aged up. “But you still ship with a minor!!”

Okay by that logic, why are we allowing all these other shippers doing their thing? The people that ship with Sans from Undertale that is a skeleton? I mean he is still just a skeleton linking him strongly to the image of death so necrophilia much?

What about the people shipping with inanimate objects? The people shipping with transformers? Those are aliens and or vehicles? Yeah that is mechanophilia.

What about people who ship with f/os that have animalistic features? I mean they are mainly antropomorphic but they still are animals. Beastiality

nsfw fics are usually tagged and marked accordingly, most people that engage in a lot of nsfw stuff usually have “minors don’t interact” on their blog somewhere. Some even BLOCK people that follow them and are clear minors, that’s some DEDICATION.

But I have seen posts catering to FUCKING WRITERS saying “pls keep nsfw out of ur imagines and reader fics :)))) for the minors, otherwise I cant reblog it.” If you want to cater to your minor audience sure, but I can not stress enough how you can not tell others how to run their shit. Yes, you can suggest that to the imagine writers or writers in general but it is their right to say “no I run it like I want to” and proceed with their shit. And there is nothing you can do about it. Besides if minors really want some nsfw, trust me they WILL find it. Should we therefore police everyone and stuck them into horny jail? No.

Like there is a thing about fiction. It doesn’t age like normal people. When I started to love one of my f/os we were the same age. The series eventually ended, it didn’t progress in real time, so I grew up while they stayed their age. And guess what! none of this backstory is any of your god damn buisness!! I don’t OWE it to you as much as writers and others don’t owe their trauma to you just so you can “give them permission” to deal with their trauma through selfshipping or writing. Who do you think you fucking are?

Fiction is not reality. And I am sick being stuck in medevial dark ages europe where people believed everything on a stage to be real life. Where actors were not allowed to exist and the people that did act and depicted a bad guy were generally shunned and hated by everyone bc they didn’t distinguish between fiction and reality.

Does fiction have an effect on reality? Yes. Jaws had repurcussions. Even the german novella “Die Leiden des jungen Werthers” had about a dozen suicides following the lead of the main character. 50 shades had an effect. 13 reasons why had an effect. But that doesn’t mean what you believe it means.

In the end I can not take the role of these minors parents to educate them and look after them. It shouldn’t be my job. And yes there are a lot of scummy adults on the internet. Like a LOT. But you need to understand that the internet will NEVER be a child safe place. And most adults take precautions already!

But fics aren’t for morality lessons. Fics aren’t for sex education. Fics aren’t there to be a fucking HOLY BOOK. Fics are just creative writing. And selfshippers are just there to have a bad time. And if they act out SURE call them out but otherwise just leave them tf alone?

If it makes you uncomfortable then don’t follow and interact with those people but you don’t need to pretend to have some moral high ground so you are the better person. You can just... have dislikes?

Even so, as I make this post I can not speak in broad terms because each case, each person is individual. Maybe some get off on shit and endorse it, how should I know? Maybe someone out there is fighting for not policing and censoring stuff because they actively want more pedo content, I don’t know, I am not the CIA or FBI?

You were sleeping in since it was Saturday...also known as your chill day. Dreams, silence, peace...until...BRIIINGGGG, your phone goes off. You crinkle your face as you try to ignore the call but it continued to ring. Eventually, driven mad from the ringing, you yank the phone off the nightstand, "Hello?!" "Oh god, I need you, ASAP," Zach says dramatically. You sat up in your bed, rubbing your forehead, "What's up, Zach..." "Just come over!" He shouts before hanging up. "Probably something Dad stored up here," Ryan added. "Let's go play a board game," Zach said looking at the closet. As you all went downstairs, the thought of the clown lingered. If there wasn't anyone in the room, what were the footsteps you heard? At around 7:00 PM, It began to get dark. After hours of playing Uno, Chutes and Ladders, Candyland, and Monopoly, you suggested they all watched a movie. "A Scary Movie," Zach said with a sly smile. "Zach," You rolled your eyes. "Yeah, scary!" Ryan joined Zach in creepy smiles. You looked at Reese, "You alright with that?" "Mhm," She nodded. Zach turned off the lights upstairs and went to make a huge bowl of buttery popcorn. As you all waited for the movie to start, you heard the floor creak upstairs. You looked back to see where Zach was, "Zach?" He popped his head out from the kitchen, "Yeah?" Fear poked on your bones, "Zach...c'mere," You said slightly whispering. "What's wrong?" Ryan said. "Stay here," You smiled to reassure them. Zach looked confused, "What?" "There's something upstairs..." "Something?" "I heard creaking...like someone was walking," You adjusted your sweatpants. "We can check it out, it's probably nothing," He laughed. You both walked up the stairs slowly, it was dark so you squinted your eyes to try and see. The room where the clown statue was had a light on, "Did you do that?" Zach shrugged with his eyebrow crinkled, "M'nah." Bravery forced you to push the door open with a gasp. There was nothing but the clown statue standing there, with a life-like figure, it looked so real, "Ok, this thing is beyond creepy." "I'll call Dad to see if we can put it somewhere else," Zach pulled his phone out. As he dialed his father's number, you observed the statue. The artists that created it must've had god-sent tools, it looked like a human in a clown's costume. But it was so still and lifeless, you brushed the thought. "Yeah...I dunno...it's creeping Y/n out...what...what d'you mean..." Zach said before his eyes got wide and his pupils got small. He looked at you with a shocked look as if he'd been shot. "What?" You said confused yet worried. "He said...we don't have a clown statue," Zach said. Your eyes bolted to the statue. "Get out of there and call the cops," You could hear Zach's Dad saying through the phone. Your stomach dropped, the door was so close, yet so far. If this wasn't a statue...then it must be a person. Out of nowhere, Zach pushed you out and slammed the door. You both shot downstairs and pulled Reese and Ryan from the couch. "What's going on?" Ryan said. You could hear loud boots jogging across the floor upstairs, that made you move quicker. You ran outside to the neighbors' house and called the cops.

Later that night, Zach, Ryan, and Reese stayed over your house. Zach's parents' were on an emergency flight home. It turned out the police searched the house, every nook, and cranny. They couldn't find anything until they reached the basement. They found a hollow clown costume and a knife surrounded by glass. The "clown" was actually a wanted murderer and rapist. You were so happy that was got out safely. You thought about what would've happened if you didn't investigate the footsteps you heard. Fear still lingered around you and Zach when you realized whoever the "clown" really was...he was still on the loose...

CHARACTERIZATION

gabriel  is  based  off  nbc  heroes  &  my  own  personal  headcanons.  at  the  point  of  writing  this  i  have  seen  the  first  &  second season,  i  am  making  my  way  through  the  rest  of  the  show  at  present.   don’t  worry  about  spoilers  though  as  i  pretty  much  know  most  of  the  major  plot  points  for  gabriel  during  the  series,  just  not  all  the  specifics.  ---  threads  will  generally  take  place  in  aus  &  content  i  have  seen  however,  until  i  have  caught  up.  though  idk  how  big  the  fandom  is  so  i  sense  a  lot  of  aus  my  way  any  ways  lol

***  REGARDING  HEROES  REBORN

i  have  no  plans  to  watch  it.  sylar  isn’t  even  in   the  show  so  its  really  just  not  required  of  me  to  view  it.  any  plot  lines  transpired  in  that  canon  will  never  be  seen  in  any way  on  my  blog.   sylar  reforms  himself  post  series  &  just  goes  on  from  there.  when  i  officially  make  it  through  the  whole  show  i  will  write  proper  headcanons  on  that.

OOC  VS.  IC  KNOWLEDGE

at  the  point  i  am  in  the  show,  the  only  people  who  know  what  sylar  looks  like  are  the  people  that  have  seen  him,  furthermore  only  those  who  have  heard  the  name  know  he  is  even  a  thing.  so  its  safe  to  say  a  lot  of  normal   savillians  don’t  know  him.  HELL  a  lot  of  the  heroes  don’t  know  him  either.  ---  keep  this  in  mind  when  interacting.  if  your  character  has  special  abilities  to  know  who  he  is,  thats  different,  but  don’t  just  assume  you  know  who  he  is  or  what  he  does.  

FURTHERMORE  TO  GO  OFF  A  TANGENT  i  am  not  gonna  be  too  keen  to  see  a  bunch  of  starters  of  people  begging  for  their  lives.  gabriel  is  a  hell  of  a  lot  more  then  just  a  random  serial  killer.  he  is  a  complex  character  who  has  feelings  &  issues  of  his  own.  hes  not  going  to  kill  just  anyone  for  the  sake  of  it.  please  bare  this  in  mind.  i  will  likely  not  reply  to  those  kind  of  random  interactions.  ---  by  all  means  if  you  wanna  plot  something  like  that  i  am  game  for  it,  but  please  give  me  the  heads  up.  i  will  not  reduce  my  muse  to  a  stereotype  killer,  cause  hes  not  & thats  the  tea.  he  only  kills  when  it  benefits  him,  its  not  a  sport  for  the  hell  of  it.

WHAT’S IN THE AIR? FRUSTRATION!

November 30 - December 4 (Week 7)

Can y’all feel it, guys? What can you say about the title? Exaggerated? No jokes, Sherlock that is real! Like for real, I was feeling frustrated and all for this week! Wanna know why? Well then, read this blog! But don't worry I’ll include some learnings too HAHAHA!

Okay so first and foremost, we had a 20-items identification quiz. It wasn’t a surprise or what since it was announced to us in our ICT group chat. Alright and guess what my score is? Don’t expect too much guys I just got an 11 for a score. Low as the underworld, right? Welp, what can I say, I didn’t review much because I have a pile of works to do! Modules, summative, assessments and things like those are everywhere! I haven’t had the time to review for our quiz and yeah I accept my score. I know I’m at fault too, I know that.

Secondly... wait, is secondly even a word? idk just google it LMAO! Okay so secondly, after our quiz, just like what was planned, we had more activities to enhance our “programming skills” and things like that. So for our first activity which added more blocks to my already piled up frustrations in life (yeah just lemme be dramatic just for once lol), we have this.

Easy you think? Well you thought... I don’t really know too if this is just a piece of cake or what but for me, it is kinda hard. So for this part we did it on an external css file. What is external css file you must ask, well, according to a site I have cited: “With an external style sheet, you can change the look of an entire website by changing just one file! Each HTML page must include a reference to the external style sheet file inside the <link> element, inside the head section.”

Note that the file entitled idk is the external file while the file idkwtctlol is the html file.

Okay so you might ask if what happened to me as I code that file, well guess what? The second box won’t show up like what the heck?! And then I learned that the left property value must differ from the first box. The first left property value was 300 and the second box must have 560. Sir Richard explained it to us if what kind of math they did to come up with 560 but I didn’t understand it. If you know what and how, comment down below for us to know!

And then when the second box finally showed up, they were not aligned! Feeling the frustration, yet? I still need to ask for help from my classmates and to our teacher just so I could know if what was the problem with my file! So they helped me debug my file and lo and behold! My output is now okay! YEHET!!!

And for our second activity which didn’t stress me much because in the midst of coding and class work, I received a good news! And that good news has nothing to do with ICT but imma just say it to you just because I feel like too.

Who wouldn’t be happy with that type of news, right? Well of course everyone would! Ok so going back to ICT, as I was about to code the second activity which was this:

Someone has already got the right code! Haven’t I mentioned yet that the one who will provide the right code will get a +10 point for our quiz? Welp now that I have mentioned that, Herxie was the one who provided the right code for the first act while Yen got the +10 for the second one! So since I have no idea if what will the code be since I still have a hangover with the news I had received, I just copied Yen’s code. It is alright since it is not prohibited. That’s how our ICT class works LOL!

So that was the code. I fixed mine since that’s my way of coding. For this activity, we did it in an Inline style and according again to a site I have cited, Inline is: “An internal style sheet may be used if one single HTML page has a unique style. The internal style is defined inside the <style> element, inside the head section”.

But of course, for me to learn and not just copy her work fully, I asked Yen after the class if how did she came up with such computation about the placing of the third box and things like that. She said the for the left part, she did a trial and error while for the top part, she took the 1/3 of the first box then added it to the initial property value and things like that. I actually got her point, I just couldn’t express it in words fully so sorry for that hehe ;-;
