Sometimes I can't believe that Jeffrey Bacon, a tiny man with wet cat energy that somehow managed to rizz up 3 men, is played by Foolish "Jawline that could cut marble, himbo galore" Gamers. He made the conscious decision to make a character so stupid and pathetic (10 HP!!!!), but lived to see another day despite the odds. I hope we see his amnesic ass in another season, just to know his backstory and/or give him more men to fall in love with him.

Okay, after that mini-date between q!Tina and q!Bagi, I have some gripes to settle regarding how some people have been reacting.

First and foremost, cc!Tina. Miss ma’am, I know you’ll probably never read this, but let me tell you, if I hear you one more time saying you’re not good at roleplay I will SCREAM! You are SO passionate and in the moment, so immersed, and you immediately level yourself with how into it the people you’re interacting with are. You’re not afraid to make your character show vulnerability, fear and sadness. This is PEAK roleplaying skills, and it’s so enjoyable to watch! Please never feel invalidated just because you don’t have a 60 pages Word document about your character. You’re SO talented, and your monologues from the mini-date are incredibly poignant.

Secondly, I wanna touch upon the notion that q!Tina is easily swayed. This has some truth to it, and it did show with q!Bagi most of all. Many times she changed an answer about a question or a topic because q!Bagi had a different one. However, those were all about menial things. “But what about her opinion about the Federation?” I hear you ask. Well, it’s true that the people she’s been hanging out the most with (q!Foolish, q!Jaiden and q!Ironmouse) are either pro or neutral towards the Federation. However, because they are still keeping her at arm’s length, they don’t go into too much details as to the why and how. q!Foolish and q!Jaiden especially have a mutual trust and share secrets that they’d never tell q!Tina, at least not now. As such, while at first simmering in a relatively Federation-friendly climate, it wasn’t such a big focus point, especially since she was so new. Like she said, she lived in blissful ignorance, and the people surrounding her didn’t really do anything to change that.

Then comes q!Bagi. Slowly but surely, they both develop a crush on each other, and as such, q!Tina wants to impress. She grasps at a small excuse to flip her view of the Federation as a way to do that, but again, in that moment, it’s not a big deal. And because they are very shy with each other and clumsily flirt, the seriousness of the topic is still somewhat behind a curtain, even though q!Bagi has been knee deep into the dark side of the island. The terrible truths and secrets, the violence, torture, betrayals, she’s seen it all already, but when around q!Tina, she puts on a brave face and acts all sweet, because it’s clear she likes her a lot! However, she does sometimes let a smidge of truth slip out, which q!Tina unconsciously hears and stores in her memory for safekeeping without thinking too much of it.

Finally comes the turning point. q!Bagi discovers q!Cellbit is her long lost brother, and he reacts badly to it, leaving her profoundly sad. q!Tina is present enough to start to see how complex her crush’s life is, through multiple days. After a setback, q!Bagi decides to invite q!Tina on the mini-date and fully opens up to her. Despite building up to it, this wave of information comes crashing down. q!Tina is hit with everything. But most importantly, she is confronted with how blissful her ignorance was, and she is SCARED, leading to her AMAZING monologue about it. However, this fully awakens her critical thinking, and she actually starts to reflect on the situation! Seriously, I don’t know how people didn’t see that! Multiple times through the mini-date, she not only expresses her honest opinion, but even does so when it CHALLENGES q!Bagi’s. She defends q!Foolish, q!Jaiden and q!Forever, she tells her that one of the Cucuruchos is nice, she questions the idea of leaving the island, the Federation’s desire to harm, and so on. At that moment, she’s not trying to impress anymore, she wants to understand, and suggesting otherwise is highly disingenuous, reductive even.

By the end, there isn’t even a real agreement reached on any of those questions! However, what becomes clear is that q!Bagi did something nobody has truly done yet for q!Tina: she opened her heart, and decided to be completely honest. For a while now, q!Tina had become jaded about who to trust, noticing how much the others were keeping secrets, even her close friends. It upset her, and made her act irrational. Yet q!Bagi, without any second thought, chose to trust her. Not to manipulate her, not to test her, but because she truly wanted q!Tina to know who she was. She did that out of respect, to give her all the keys to make the most informed decision about their relationship. Through some more heart-to-heart, they realize they both feel the same way about the others keeping secrets, and now they know they have each-other, at least for the time being.

This leads me to the third misconception: q!Foolish. Doozers, I love you guys. The past months, you’ve fought tooth and nail to make sure q!Foolish wasn’t mischaracterized by the fandom, and I fully support you for it. However, there is something you need to realize: the other cubitos are NOT the fandom. They shouldn’t know, CANNOT know his POV, or q!Jaiden’s. As a result, the hard truth is that due to q!Foolish’s chaotic nature and seemingly wavering loyalty, NOBODY apart from q!Jaiden actually trusts him with regards to Federation matters. He’s often filibusting, joking around, and deviating when it comes to these matters, he has shown to be ready to arrest people. He CHOOSES to act like that, and since others don’t know his endgame, you cannot in good conscience blame any of them when he does not appear trustworthy. Even q!BBH with whom q!Foolish has somewhat of an unspoken bond, doesn’t tell him everything. I know you all want q!Bagi to have a conversation with him to understand him, but it’s going to take way more than that for any islander (again, other than q!Jaiden) to see him the way you do, much less q!Bagi.

This includes q!Tina by the way. As she said during the date, he’s been keeping her at arm’s length, so she’s started doing the same. He may have good reasons to do so but she can’t know them. Now, as she also mentioned, this has become kind of a mutual understanding of what they’re willing to share, and while it remains so, their friendship is almost certainly not endangered. That being said, if it WERE to come to blows, you cannot fault her if she ends up siding with q!Bagi, who’s shown willingness to cross bridges he hasn’t. Again, this is the worst case scenario. She’s still defending him so it’s suuuuuper unlikely to happen.

So yeah, that’s about it! TL;DR

q!Tina might sometimes be easily swayed, but keep in mind that when things get serious, she does have a good head on her shoulders and is capable of critical thinking.

While it’s important for the fandom to understand q!Foolish, it’s equally crucial to realize he does not appear trustworthy to almost all islanders because they don’t have the information the viewers have.

Some hcs i have

-if the eggs are the old residents and richas was the one who fled to the lighthouse, he was the ones who ran away with the recipe for what the fed wants and now the fed has to redo everything, that's why they have cucurucho , which is the one made the right way but they couldn't remake it perfectly (osito bimbo)

-the current federation was inspired by a old one but didn't know how to get to the headquarters of the old one because in fact they are a group that made a riot and disassociated themselves from the old fed so the old fed hid so they (the new) wouldn't find their research and the guy who ran away to the lighthouse thought the new group that made itself the new fed would do the experiences the same way the old fed did in a ethical way but when he saw that it wasn't, he ran away

-some books that q!cellbit are finding are write by himself during the time he was working at fed

-a lot of q!bad's ghost doesn't like q!cellbit because he was the one who killed them and eated them

-when richas mess up his prosthetic leg again after the q!tazercraft have already fixed it in the week he goes to ramon for help

-when q!pac and q!fit started flirting and ramon discovers he can get another brother he started a comparison and saw that richas and dapper are very similar (dark skin, they dabble with the occult and are good builders)

-one day richas started seeing a kid following their dad q!cellbit and never understand why no one talked with they ou made their tasks until the day he finally understood

-q!bad, q!missa, q!phil, q!cellbit, richas and dapper are the only ones who can see the dead eggs since they are the ones who knows the other side in their own ways (that was before the chayanne and tallulah thing)

-one day when q!wilbur comes back and tallulah says to him that she has another father figure that she see as a uncle and he saw that q!forever and q!phil let she fight (they don't actually but she must know how to defend herself) and these kind of thing, and he says that he never allowed it, she says ''they were here all this time''

-romero richas was the leo's entity friend who was wandering before the richas's body was allowed to back to life

-one day the residents will have to choose to save between osito and cucu but they will have to find out who is the "good" one

-it will be a egg who will kill the cucurucho (probably richas for revange after all the kidnappings)

-it is already a time where the fed doesn't want the eggs to die anymore, since they saw how dangerous the residents are and they don't want to lost the only thing that allows a sense of control over them

-abueloier is a scientist at fed but neither do q!roier or melissa knows about it (at this point i doubt that this old man don't will have his own lore)

-q!cellbit and q!foolish are opposite double agents, q!cellbit tells everyone that he hates the fed but is following cucu's idea that he is actually pretending to make the residents trust him (which is not true), while q!foolish tells everyone to like the fed but is a secret agent who will seize his chance as a trusted by the fed when the time comes

I can only talk about Pomme but here are some things (ok, maybe a lot of things) about her :

She’s often shown as very sweet in fanarts and it’s true that she is very empathetic and kind (she felt really bad when she accidentally killed Foolish) and she does tend to listen to her parents. She’s cute and generally only shows this side of her personality in front of people she doesn’t know very well but once she knows them better, she can be a bit sassy and dramatic! She likes to do like Baghera and to dig under herself when she feels vexed or when someone teases her. Sometimes, she falls on the ground instead or she slowly lowers her head and turns around. She also knows that she’s cute and, if she’s in trouble with her parents, she will put her wings on and start doing cute little spins so that she looks too cute for them to be mad. She loves to have her wings and to play the flute (she especially likes playing JDG’s theme, on the flute).

But she’s also quite the fighter, after all, Etoiles is one of her dads ! She has a moonlight sword that he gave her for her birthday and she is a good fighter, she has done multiple dungeons, she killed many mobs, including withers and she regularly trains with Etoiles to get better. She enjoys building (she’s currently building a manor for herself) but things have to be the correct way because if a block isn’t where it should be, it bothers her. Etoiles and Baghera have teased her sometimes by placing random dirt blocks on their constructions. She also likes writing a lot. She keeps a (very well written) diary where she writes her feelings about every day of the server. Her favourite colour is light blue, closely followed by red and her favourite art movement is the dada movement. Her name, Pomme, means “apple”, in French. It’s also an actual French name and the name of a French singer she likes. She doesn’t know a lot about the world outside of the island and she would love to learn more. Antoine and Baghera have told her a bit about the world, before. While Richas generally uses kkkkk, she often laughs in xfsiejfodtkj and, while she’s not as energetic as he can often be, she likes to join people in silly moments and she has a good sense of humour.

She cares a lot about her parents and about the other eggs. Etoiles likes to playfully tease her and they often train to fight. She knows he’s strong and believes that nobody could defeat him, although she still worries sometimes. He always gives her very good equipment, and items from the dungeons he does. He also teached her to dig and create a little safe space in the ground to recharge her social battery when she needs to as she gets a little bit overwhelmed when there are a lot of people and a lot of noise. She doesn’t see Antoine very often but they had nice conversations and she liked to build with him. He was also one of the fastest to go to ninho to save her when there was an attack. He stayed with her while it was dangerous and they had a deep conversation about death. He trusted her enough to show her his secret room where he puts info about the people of the island. Amongst the French people, she has spent the most time with Baghera. They are very close, they like discussing and gossiping together and she has spent some time building with her and theorising with Baghera, BBH, Forever, Cellbit, etc and she sometimes said some very insightful things. Aypierre has teached her a little bit about create and they also built together. He pays attention to her safety but isn’t scared to bring her along in some shenanigans, giving her some wine sometimes because “it’s ok, she’s French !”, flirting with Maximus when she’s around, or even sneaking into the federation building with her. They were almost found by Cucurucho but they were wearing hoods and she teleported them away as soon as she saw Cucurucho. Cute little detail : her and Cellbit always give each other flowers when they meet. She often connects super late and stays up very late as well so her parents like to joke that they should call her cider since the lack of sleep makes her a fermented apple. Since she’s always up so late, she spends a lot of time with BBH and Dapper. She got very close to them and Bad adopted her a little while ago. She was really happy to have Dapper as a sibling (even though she also considers all the other eggs as her siblings), and now, they call each other Dappy and Pomdrapi (the French name of the Pokémon Flapple).

And now, time for some angst XD One of her dads, Kameto, only came twice on the island, on the first day and on the day of the mission to try to save Bobby. They didn’t see each other the second time and, the first time, even though he’s the one who gave her her name, he said that he didn’t really care about her and the rest of the eggs. Then, he left, apparently to buy cigarettes. This, plus the fact that she remembers waiting alone in the adoption centre, has given her some abandonment issues. She tries to cope with humour but it affects her. She’s learning how to say cigarette in multiple languages, hoping he might come back. BBH and Baghera have tried to reassure her but she feels like maybe she just wasn’t good enough to make him want to stay. She really likes and cares about all her egg siblings a lot but the ones she is the closest to are probably Richarlyson and Dapper. The three of them are sometimes called the late-night trio. She likes Leonarda and wants to learn some Spanish to communicate better with her and she is in a group called Radio Egg with Leo, Tallulah and Richas, who does the artistic design. Tallulah and Pomme are also good friends and Tallulah sometimes calls her Manzanita.

Since she arrived, everybody has been talking about her potential death. This plus the fact that Dapper lost a life and that Bobby died very shortly after she arrived made her very conscious of the dangers of the island. She is often very scared but the fact that she is the last egg with two lives makes her feel a sense of responsibility for her siblings and she is actually more scared about losing one of them than about dying herself. She’s been scared about TNT since the fake Wilbur party and the moment when she was one shotted by the code affected her a lot. She said it was the worst pain she ever felt. She is always prepared to put on her equipment in case an attack happens. Defensive potions and totems are also prepared so that she can be ready to defend herself as fast as possible if there’s any danger. When Richarlyson recently got downed, she was the first to teleport to Ninho and to push on the button, she was really scared of losing him. She strongly distrusts the federation and Cucurucho but she’s not afraid to stand up to them even to their face. During the elections, she has also said multiple times that she thought this seemed to only serve to make the people of the island argue with each other. She hates ElQuackity. She was furious when he kidnapped Dapper. When BBH, Cellbit and Baghera went to rescue him, she was so mad that Richarlyson had to break the warpstone leading to ElQuackity to stop her from going after him herself and putting herself in danger. Since then, she has called her scythe “Revenge”. She thinks she’s probably one of the only people who understand how much the kidnapping affected Dapper, since he doesn’t really show it and since he’s so strong that most people don’t necessarily worry for him.

I hope I didn’t make any mistakes. I feel like there’s so much more I could say but I’ve probably written way too much already XD In any case, if you need any info about Pomme or any of the French CCs, don’t hesitate !

Does anyone have any tips on how to characterise the eggs? I've been wanting to write a fic with the eggs as main characters but the only thing holding me back is that I don't know some of the eggs that well. Specifically, Dapper and Leo as I don't really watch much BBH or Foolish and Richas and Pomme because of the language barrier.
