im being fully a hater right now but i fucking hate when people ignore the context and implications of a setting in order to shoehorn in whatever theyre after
#'this person that was drafted into the american military is trans and out and has several disabilities and disorders' no they are/do not#they wouldn't have been 1. drafted or 2. pass health inspection or 3. even be in that situation to begin with PLEASE be serious#sure trans people existed but if they were in the military they weren't Out and Proud or else they wouldnt be IN THE MILITARY in THE 1950S#if they developed these disorders you're giving them they would have been fucking discharged!#if they bribed whoever was doing their inspection to ignore their genitals (why would you do this when you hate the army anyway)#they would have to then bribe like 30-50 other recruits and whoever their superior at basic was and also the medical team#and then whoever showered with them on the way over and whoever does their yearly health inspections#not to mention doctors nurses orderlies and anyone involved if they get wounded and need surgery#like. logic people. use ur brains#anyway im shutting up now. just had to vent that
