I’ve convinced my dad to plant wildflowers in our yard yoooo minor direct action on trying to improve things lets gooooo!!!!!
#it's not native grasses but it's a START!#maybe it'll bring some of the bugs back 😭 bugs my beloved I miss you#*bugs that aren't ticks or ants#miss being a kid and just seeing random butterflies. Don't see much of em anymore#but also it's SO DRY here The Prairies are DUST we've had like seven dry years in a row it'll take years to fix the water tables everywhere#if we ever get enough rain to even begin that process ever again 😭#Other places are getting our fucking rain!!!#Thoughts with people in Northern Alberta tbh#**also I don't actually mind ants its just that the entire town where I live is built on like 500 000 ant EMPIRES#and they are at constant war with each other and US it's like its a game to them you fix up one hole they find another#me#kat gets personal
