#zhalia's lil' chit chat#dot post bc im feeling ~salty~#you ever see people go 'ugh why does no one send me asks/comment on my works/interact with me'#and then you take one small glance at their stuff and they *never interact with others*?#like duhh no wonder no one comments on your stuff - you don't thank them for it. people don't owe you comments but they're certainly way#more inclined to comment on your stuff when you thank them for what they do!#it's a balanced thing. it's a give-and-take#and no - thanking people doesn't automatically lead to people commenting more n more like people still have busy days n stuff#so not everyone *can* always comment#but! it certainly helps!#people have commented on my stuff before going 'i love reading your works and you're always sweet responding to my comments' yeah i put#effort in that!! i love interacting w people and i know that it's like a little gift when people comment on my stuff so i !! thank them !!#and on tumblr too#like people be living on their own islands and never reaching out to others and then go huh! why does no one reach out to me! bc no one#knows you're there babe#give and take !! respond to comments !! chat with others !!#and don't get me wrong -- you don't *have* to interact with others#but you can't complain that no one interacts w you when you never interact w others is what i'm saying#if you want de comments you got to respond de comments and motivate de commenterssss#ok mini vent over
