Hate that TMNT fixation made me pedantic about traditional Japanese swords of all things. Every time I see Hanzou's sword referred to as a katana I make a Face because it doesn't fuckign curve,,,,,,,,, /lh

#to be fair in picos cosuin 2 they added a curve to the end i assume to make it look more like a katana #im going to be nice and call it a tachi HDKWHDJ #IN PICO 1 THOUGH okay #mindchamber says that it was mail order which makes me Think #its a replica ninjaken. which is mostly a media invention #but ninjaken are straight swords with a chiseled down tip to form a one-edged point + a square hilt #which. yeah thats hanzou's sword lol #if you want to be nice and assume its an authentic sword though. prrrobably a chokuto #straight sword usually wothout an handguard often mistaken for a katana #💛
