Cause megumi has been on my mind a lot lately for…obvious reasons. I cant stop thinking about how, if he were in a relationship, it would be with someone who is like normal, for jujutsu kaisen standards, and completely separated from the sorcery world. Like it would be really hard at times cause I think he wouldn’t tell them anything about sorcery if he could but the mundane and peaceful moments he’d get to have with them would be soo..!! His life would get to feel a little normal for that bit of time.

I think he’d cling on to his partner’s normality and try to protect it (especially since Tsumiki…yeah). even if he might do something that hurts them, like he wouldn’t WANT to hurt them but if it comes to it yeah. As long as they don’t get caught up in any of that mess. Those mundane moments with loved ones amidst a chaotic backdrop are sooo much to me.

omg yes.....i feel like for megumi who didn't even want to be a jujustu sorcerer in the first place he craves normalcy and even though he knows it's a bad idea, he's a little selfish and can't help but want it despite it all. i feel like there's a conversation with gojo somewhere there about how he should be more selfish and that if he wants it that much he's going to have to be the one to protect his s/o. and he can only do that if he gives up his self sacrificing tendencies and gets stronger. gojo is probably all goading about it too like 'you can't call yourself a man if you can't even protect your lover!' 😭

but at the same time i think megumi is like...the type to retreat. zero communication for days on end. the 'it's none of your business' kind of guy who you would worry would be cheating on you if it were literally any other guy. like i know i rag on gojo a lot for being a terrible lover but megumi's got daddy issues AND abandonment issues and it's going to manifest in some horrible difficult way. if gojo is the ex that doesn't acknowledge that you've already broken up with him megumi is the ex that should probably be an ex but he's somehow still your on and off boyfriend who tries to break it off every time he thinks he's strong enough but ends up reneging. you only stay because you keep on holding out for that possibility, that hope for something better. YEAH.
