speaking of clive, i briefly considered having a ‘well, what if-’ moment when i started plotting for our run in with him but honestly his canonical death is so fucking funny i couldn’t think of anything that was better.

getting gutted on his own barricade while yelling into a bullhorn about how Big and Bad and Mean and Scary he is by a fucking not-joking-genuinely-certifiably-insane-junkie is better than anything i could ever come up with.

#txt.txt #reelix au: the good the bad & the dead #please note i am using junkie in this context VERY lovingly #foxy is a gem and i adore her. she's the manic pixie dream girl except not really she exists as a commentary on the entire concept of them #and her story ends with her beginning to heal and regaining her own agency as a person and accepting that she's never going to be whole #again but that maybe that's okay. maybe it's okay because she also won't ever be used as nothing but a weapon again.#also since i haven't mentioned it recently her backstory novella of the day the dead came to show and tell is so #[clenches fist] you will read it and you will cry and then you will go to reread it later on and say you're not gonna cry this time #and then you FUCKING DO and this is a COMPLIMENT #if you haven't read anything for newsflesh/the rising series and a whole main trilogy + tie in novel + tie in novella compendium #sounds like way too much you could honestly read the day the dead came to show and tell and have enough worldbuilding to follow it #iirc the ebook for it is on google play and probably the app store #[i am dangling a pocket watch in front of you] you want to dip into this series sooooo bad yes you doooooooooooo
