An insidious import from China. Locals say the Italian railroad brought the damn plant to Italy to shore-up rail embankments. When we bought #ilpoggioloacodiponte 10 years ago, the vineyard was completely hidden in a jungle of this flora. Shallow roots which spring new growth in a jiffy.
