Family Politics

As far as I'm aware, my family has gone 21 years without getting political at Thanksgiving, but this might be the one that breaks us.

Between my pro-Beto Texas relatives coming up and my pro-Trump brother in law driving us over, and the weird amount of "news" he's convinced my parents to start watching (Fox, ofc) and my recently divulged flare of hard socialistic stances on fb, it may just come down to it.

There's only so much "catching up" at our yearly get togethers to happen before Granddad falls asleep with the remote in his hand and we're stuck on local news reporting some bs that we all discreetly pay attention to and ignore at the same time.
