our nextdoor neighbor who just moved in is very friendly and outgoing but unfortunately his neighbor (me) is very very shy and awkward around 90% of people and maybe closer to 99.8% of men

#gab gabs #he's invited me to like. house warming party and shared baked good #im nicey to him and so is my doggy but im so shy and i do not know how to extend the favor without becoming too involved #i dont like feeling social pressure or obligation tho i do believe in the very basic premise of being kind and compassionate toward everyone #Just. awgh. being friendly with people you dont have anything in common with is scary for me
