This BL Manga with a very... obscuring plotline counting how many days till this beautiful man named "Onodera,' falls in love with his Senpai, "Takano,'

By looking at how the generation changes as Years have passed where many Great BL shows, Manga's are becoming adapted in many languages and how society is changing to a point everyone is aware, Different Morals, Spotting Red Flags & reactions to the Ships & Chemistry has becoming more vocal of their opinions about it.

All those Years ago, Us kids when we know Sekaiichi Hatsukoi(The world's greatest first love) had always been either our First BL to watch or if never been the first -Could be Second or Third-

We never knew what it was like watching and knowing the fact we giggled & fangirled at those scenes as being Animated(Except those in Mangas)

Now this generation, as us Kids who were nowhere Adults or older teens grew to understand how toxic their relationship (Takano & Onodera) is in the manga as they grew to understand the plotline more. Little did they really know... what happened to the manga??? Had it ended after that?

After a Banana & Donut Hole moment, I realised they were longing for each other but they both were sort of afraid to show it. Especially, how both of them can be really intense, despite their personalities. Even just for a little things they always see & realised how they grew or small things that they find, as they both reminiscent.

What got me surprised is when Onodera noticed Takano's lashes were long, he usually doesn't care before but when progressed has started as I read the recent chapters. I realised Onodera's feelings grew when Takano was there. Longing for his touch, gaze, kisses, his dire moments, his company... whatever you call it(Remember my previous post where Onodera Touches himself??)

I realised, he's starting to grow his feelings onto him, slowly getting there yet had many doubts.

After reading, the translations STOPPED and I didn't even get to read ANY UPDATE and its been 2 years from now.

All I got was... A Book Cover from Vol. 17 & 18(LATEST 2023)

I just even realised something...

Volume 16 had... 16 Days left...

Let alone there's 17 & 18...

I feel that Volume 17 onwards are going to start a Single Digit number. As Onodera PROGRESSES ONWARDS....

Hi, first of all, good day to you. I hope you are having a great day so far, Yes, i read orv, it was recommended by my good friend Bluris @1-800-i-ship-it and @dimobserver , so I started reading it.

I can say its a different take despite having familiarity with the concept of characters getting messages windows about stuff like challenges and rewards, like how other webtoon/manwha are. The characters are interesting as well so until now, even if im not updated with the latest chapters, its still on my reading list (its mostly because im reading more than a hundreds manga and manhwa) (im just slow) I also like the art

How about you give it a try, let's say till chapter 20 max, and if you aren't liking it, its no problem to drop it :)

I just read that you didn't like how the snk manga ended up. Where about in the story did you start disliking it? Like was the main ending in 139 the biggest problem or was it the final arcs like I've heard others saying?

I am still confused myself how I feel about 139 Im just interested to see where you felt like the manga wasn't for you anymore. 😅

Disclaimer: hhhHHHhh first of all, I want to make clear that I am no writer but as a media consumer like everyone else, I am able to assimilate situations and stories, and if I see something that doesn't work from my PoV that doesn't mean I think I can do better myself..if that was how the world works, many critics would be unemployed 😅 My opinion isn't even professional anyway so anyone is free to disagree and leave their comment if they want to talk but know that I won't engage in any further conversation that takes more than a couple of mins because I'm only answering a question here and come to have a good time gjdfkg.

Now to the answer hmmmm, is not exactly just the ending but more like a progressive thing ( I assume that's what you mean with the latest arcs?).

It kind of started with the serum bowl for me actually ahahah idk if that's too behind 😂. Fandom's reaction aside, the stage Erwin and Armin were brought into was way too convenient to give Erwin the farewell he had (which doesn't mean I didn't love it btw, his interactions w Levi and hanji made me cry) and a bit too overdone to prove once more how much Eren loves his friends. From that point I was like "mmmm ok it was a risky move to bring them to the rooftop out of nowhere like a ring fight, with this new random bootlicker guy on the side but is ok it cannot get weirder than that right"

Then when the whole Marley arc appeared I gotta admit I entered a VERY long hiatus, because I was just starting to digest what was going on with historia, Eren and the grisha flashbacks, also what was going to happen with Armin since the scene in the rooftop seemed SO important and eager to pass the role to him and a bunch of characters compared him to erwin as if it was going to be relevant to the story. Also I gave up with Annie ahsjfddg.

So yeah this "other side of the story" was like starting over (which I knew was the point yes) and I wasn't ready for that, I know I was weak pls don't yell at me.

So I waited til the main cast appeared again (my friends were updating me on the story hahaha) to reunite some willpower and get myself back in track. I went back a bit before I left the story at, and swallowed all those war chapters all together. And I was kinda impressed, it was even entertaining. I thought "I guess I just needed a break, my interest wasn't 100% lost"

It felt like I was reading chapters like in uprising (in my opinion, a good balance between politics and the action everyone came for: shonen titan fights) it was going good...

Then I cannot recall in which point everything started to be a bit overwhelming (again is prob because it wasn't just a single thing), more information was coming and new characters were taking turns in the spotlight....Mikasa with the asian bloodline, Annie's daddy issues, Falco's hinted destiny, Reiner's deadpool-like sad life, Levi and his promise, Hanji's ideals and their struggle as a commander (the latter was left so so abandoned for the sake of implying that the "idea" of commander in their universe basically died with Erwin, which brings me back to being upset at the unnecessary drama pushed on Armin, he was just sad for killing people like a normal person and that's it), the motivation of the SC, Historia and her baby, the Ymir's sick love and the no-ymir's past... these are only the ones I can get from the top of my head...

All of these little unresolved/forcibly closed stories I felt were like the freebies in a big box, the things that give you the sensation that the prize is bigger but they really don't give any more weight once you open it.

I just felt I was being mislead all the time. (you can tell by memes like this that many people was mislead in one way or another, they could sense the story was going on a direction where none of these scenarios could happen, and yet they happened in the last minute) The cherry on top is that I thought Eren was going to be allowed to be a true villain lmao.

The final events were just the Coup de Grace and I wasn't expecting anything at that point, so the Avengers assembling against Thano-I mean Eren and anything that came after it, didn't rlly leave an impact on me (positive nor negative), I just went with the flow and couldn't feel anything hfgdf, no anger, no sadness, I just wanted it to end.

If I told you a story about a kid that was chasing a chicken, then I decide to spend years developing complex sub plots around them and the people they meet, as if they also will have a concrete purpose in the long run, maybe hoping to add more depth to my story...all of this to tell you in the end "Anyways the kid died but got the chicken. I did everything I did because is interesting, I told you since the beginning the kid was just trying to get it so that's what they were gonna do, is just that there was no other way, they had to do all of this to get there see. Why are you not convinced? I gave you hints that that's exactly what the kid was going to do.." You'd probably feel like me ahhahahaa.

Then I've read other people say "there's only three protagonists, no need to work harder on all the characters" "all the characters had a reason to do what they did, it says so in the story 🙄" well, again I'm no writer but afaik that doesn't make a story automatically well done or compensates any lapses...is like

It gave the impression that yams wasn't rlly planning out this outcome 100%. I know writers do changes in the middle of writing..but he took too many risks imo (is his first story too right?) Whether it was bc of his own decisions or any influence he had from others...something definitely didn't go right. Still mr Itsallama I don't mean to re-write your story and I'm sorry I rlly didn't like how it went down, I still feel grateful for all the good times though. GAH) but my fav part of it has to be the hidden floor?? because!!!!!! it’s perfect from start to end, everyone in it is wonderful, Bam’s growth in it!!! GODS! My favorite scene in the whole webtoon is in the hidden floor arc, it’s how much I love it - THEN THERE’S YAMA and the whole arc there is so so SO good too, and the latest arc!! how good is the latest arc!!!!!

so yeah I can’t pick - art wise I think it goes without saying that SIU’s art has only gotten better, so the closest to the newest update you go the more I like the art.... though, my favorite Bam is still the short haired one from the Hell Train arc haha

im coming to your inbox to randomly talk about natsuyuu but i finished reading till the latest updated summaries and i have to say.... there's a lot to be unpacked. okay question - what's your favorite part of the worldbuilding in natsuyuu? and what would you like to see more in the upcoming chapters?

uh oh u caught me, i have something shameful 2 admit

natsuyuu is literally my all time favorite anime but i havent actually gotten very far in the manga ; - ; i was hoping to finally read it b4 u finished so i wldnt out myself but i got sidetracked lolol ok give me a week and i promise we can talk then! THAT BEING SAID! i do think its a really big shame that they changed so much of natsume's actual character, he's a lot rougher/more temperamental in the manga (also fun fact he likes punk street clothes which is.. THE FUNNIEST THING i'd love 2 see him dressed in a leather jacket and combat boots... midoirikawa sensei please.). also he looks a lot more like his grandfather (ehehe) in the manga too, idk why they changed his design 2 be so boring :( also nyanko-sensei is a truly hideous cat in the manga and i love that 4 him. like absolute evil gremlin animal, most untrustworthy cat to grace the earth.

but world building i love the magical realism of it. its a pretty common trope in anime/manga and there r plenty of similar stories (the works of yumeka sumomo have v similar vibes) but i think its just very seamless and incredibly well executed at midorikawa's hands, she absolutely knows what shes doing. mushishi is always compared 2 natsume and they're both INCREDIBLE but mushishi gives me a kind of left-of-center impression and its almost disarming, stepping half a foot into being horror without being genuinely scary. natsuyuu on the other hand, even in its most tense scenes, is an incredibly calming and and familiar world. the music helps to carry this across in the anime but its midorikawa's actual art itself that creates the sensation

as 4 something i wld like to see more !! i dont know if its ever addressed in the manga but in s5 they discuss natori and matoba's origins and in it is that kimono that changes appearance based on how powerful the exorcist's abilities are and i DESPERATELY want to know what natsume sees!! also i wld very much appreciate if we get more reiko backstory and the deets w her and madara bc like.... its obvious in the manga bc of how natsume looks but even in the s6 finale they hint at it. maybe these wishes have been fulfilled tho ahahaha oh well.

Hi! I always look forward to your responses! I'm so happy you loved the latest chapter, i made it especially long this time for two reasons: 1. I can't get enough of Eren married trope 2. I had a feeling the last chapter of the manga series was going to leave me emotionally drained and I was spot on. I'll be doing a part five for "Games" but i do not know when, hopefully in the next two weeks. I know Eren is sooo jealous, but he's also extremely cocky and aware of his strengths, at this point he gets jealous on purpose to make the sex better and also who doesn't love possessive Eren😆

Okay so, SPOILERS AHEAD.

Now, I, like many, have my opinion on the last chapter, First, Isayama wrote this amazing story and from the very beginning I always wondered if the title of the first chapter was really for Eren. How can I best describe this...okay truth is. Eren Yeager is my favorite character of aot. No, its not because he's hot but it is a partial small reason lol. I loved him since the very first episode because I felt so incredibly bad for him. I pitied Eren and I also understood why he acted the way he did. SO many people complained about him being a douchebag and a crybaby, and they aren't wrong but yes they are. Eren lacks emotional intelligence (also some common sense but thats for another time) he lack a sense of self because he witnessed his mothers death, he was given a serum at the tender age of 10, he ate his father, and he was recruited to be a soldier at the age of fifteen because he was hell bent on a revenge that was unrealistic. Let me make something clear: Every single soldier of the main group and Marley group were MINORS. They were CHILD SOLDIERS. That is fucked up no matter the threat of any kind. They were robbed of their innocence and faith and forced to train, behave, and not be stupid teenagers (EVEN THO THATS WHAT THEY ARE) just so they could be human machines to a selfish old and twisted higher-ups. Eren wasn't smart like Armin, he wasn't strong like an Ackerman, and overall he wasnt unique. The Attack Titan is what made him unique but once he realized that there were other shifters like him, it was a blow to his ego. The fact that you could S E E the depression weighing him down hurt so much. but I understood his immaturity, I myself have struggled with childhood trauma and I often catch myself saying something or doing something childish. It takes YEARS to unlearn something that was so heavily ingrained in your memories and Eren doesn't even have the time to do that. he's impulsive and hot headed but he can also be overprotective and I have always loved him for tht and I always will. I also never doubted for a second that he loved Mikasa. Mikasa had her share of traumas as well, she witnessed her parents murdered and she had to kill to save Eren, BUT the difference is that she had a savior. Eren was an awkward shy kid just like anyone else and yes he was a little messed up but i want one person to tell me they've never met a child that seemed a bit too edgy for their age. When eren's mother died NO ONE was their savior. Hanes wanted to save her but coming face to face with a titan scared him so bad he retreated and took the kids. Eren didn't retreat with those kidnappers despite the disadvantage he was at (he was a child for shits sake). He gave Mikasa the scarf and well we all know what happens. I also would read how Eren was stunted at his age mentality because of his trauma and I do agree and I would add that even though Armin and Mikasa were there for him, they ALLOWED his behavior. They are not at fault of course bc they are kids trying to figure out how to be adults with no parental guidance but everyone around Eren tolerated and allowed him to be how he was (except Jean but you could smell his jealousy and Eren fucking knew it LOL plus he was immature in his own way too) Even Hange, Levi, and Erwin his higher ups made excuses for his attitude. Levi didn't know how to parents he was raised by KENNY fir shits sake and he never spoke of the underground. Erwin was too busy and high up to worry about kids, he was trained to ensure the lives of soldiers and im sorry but that is all he saw them as. We won't even go into Hange who is a mad scientist lol. Furthermore, Eren was always my comfort character and even though i sometimes didn't like how he handled stuff, I GET IT, he had no one to guide him or show him another way and by the time he kissed historia's hand, he realized what he had to do. He was 15!!! when I was 15 I had the emotional range of a walnut and the temper of a bull. That on top of the fact that he knows he only has 8 more years is enough to make anyone want to collapse. No matter 1/2

An entirely too long ramble about how much Imperfect Metamorphosis means to me

So. It’s almost the last day of the decade. I usually get weirdly sad and nostalgic in the last 30 minutes of New Year’s Eve, but this time it’s been like, a whole week, and I’ve been reflecting on this decade as a whole as well as like, my path in life.

The 1990’s were the decade of my birth and early life.

The 2000’s were the decade of being REALLY into Harry Potter.

And my 2010’s were, wholly and singularly, defined and shaped by Touhou. 

I got into Touhou sometime around Easter 2010 when McRoll’d came into my YouTube feed, and something about the music was just so god damned catchy I just had to know where it came from. So I discovered Flandre’s fight and from there, I learned just how great the music of this weird bullet hell game made by some rando in Japan. It quickly became my Thing. When I wasn’t playing sucking at the games, I was listening to the music, and if I wasn’t listening to the music, I was at school (where I’d probably not be paying attention let’s be real here).

So there I was, happily consuming fanart and fansongs and fangames and doing that little smile in appreciation when you see a reference to a thing you like (shoutout to raocow for also playing a few Touhou fangames way back when). It expanded my gaming interests into the sphere of “modding games to make them harder can be fun and cool”, which then lead to a general interest in playing modded and moddable games. It even made me interested in visiting Japan (on my bucket list), not in that stereotypical “weeb” way of visiting all the anime and manga stores, but more in the “something I like put a country on my radar and holy shit some of those restaurants, l want to eat at ALL of these places because they’re gorgeous” way.

You’ll notice that I specifically withheld from mentioning Fanfiction. See, as a teenager who did have the “try something once and if I don’t like it I’ll probably hate it forever because it’s always like that” mentality, I had the unfortunate experience of coming across My Immortal. 

That, and the fact that one of my close friends in High School had taken to reading Twilight Fanfic (and complaining at almost every story she read and their bad use of tropes) kinda solidified fanfiction as “something dumb and stupid written by people who solely want to roleplay fucking the protagonist”. And on that pedestal sat the entire concept of fanfiction for a long-ass time (actually it was about a year and a bit).

Fast forward a while. Patchouli had cemented herself as All Time Favourite Character, I’d begun to grow out of my Harry Potter phase in search of new stories, and I’d made some new friends, one of whom said they read fanfiction all the time and some of it was actually better than original, published books because they had the freedom to explore ideas that weren’t entirely publishable. But also to roleplay fuck their waifus.

At some point in Summer 2011, not too long after it came out, I decided to replay Portal 2, and something about the story left me feeling… incomplete. Empty. I sought people discussing what they thought of the story and hidden nuggets of info peppered throughout the game, and at some long buried comment section on YouTube, someone mentioned how some fanfiction went into a headcanon and took it further. I read it, considered it for a moment, deemed it worthy of being called “not trash”, and immediately set to looking at the Touhou section on FF.net.

The first fanfics I read of Touhou were… Well, they were. There were some good ones and not so good ones. But they were all, in some way, at least interesting. I quickly discovered the frustration that New Friend had brought up once, of when you discover something great but it’s over all too soon. Setting FF.net’s search to include only 100k and up fanfics, I was delighted to discover that there was a fanfiction called “Imperfect Metamorphosis” that was over 350,000 words long. And then my carefully crafted plan of going to bed at a sensible time to maximise Summer Gaming Time was devoured by staying up until 4:30am, reading fanfiction on a shitty laptop that could barely run UFO. Thank fuck it was the summer holidays.

There was something special about Imperfect Metamorphosis. The characters all had their own personality, their own history, their own implied history beyond what was written, they had goals, thoughts, feelings, and different takes towards other people working to further their own goals. And it was all wrapped up in a package that started with a simple premise, grew to encompass a world more broad than mere canon or fanon, and then billowed into an eldritch monster of ungodly size (hi, Yuuka!)((kind of like this post huh)). 

I was so fucking hooked on IM. I went back to school with theories buzzing about my brain as to what was going to end up happening, my mind wandering to the latest chapter and the bits I thought were cool, actually having the drive to focus and actually learn something about story structure in English Literature. I suddenly had the tiniest flame of interest in creating. Maybe one day I could write fanfic, and do my tiny part in expanding the universe of fan-content.

Regardless of the fact that my own attempts at conjuring stories weren’t successful (for a while), IM was there to be read throughout my last years of Normal Schooling, and it served as both a rock and an escape from the stress of school. I laughed with the jokes, I took Marisa’s death harder than the sum total of Harry Potter’s entire bodycount, and I could never hear Soulja Boi without thinking of Mima trolling Satori.

Just like how Touhou expanded my gaming and cultural horizons, Imperfect Metamorphosis expanded my horizon with Literature. I got into reading Neil Gaiman’s work, I read some Lovecraft, I consumed all kinds of works of fiction, across a multitude of genres, which all felt, in some way, like I was reading them because of IM. I mean I only started watching Madoka, and any anime beyond that, because of Resonance Days. Interesting way of coming across a show filled to the brim with spoilers.

It’s been three years since you put Imperfect Metamorphosis onto hiatus, and I have never read anything that has filled me with such emotion to the same extent. Other things have come close, some of them were even written by other people! (the most recent mega-update of Walpurgis Nights hit me particularly hard). And Swiftly Descending Darkness has been such a great read thus far, the slowly ramping tension is so. god. damned. good.

And as I think I mentioned a while back, I finally managed to start grinding out a touhou fic at my own, absolutely glacial, pace. I always find myself asking “is this canon to Touhou, or is it just canon to IM?”. The line has forever blurred in my mind.

I’m not asking anyone to read my work. This isn’t a plea for you to return to the original IM at any speed, I just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you for writing Imperfect Metamorphosis. For the work that’s been a steady constant throughout the vast, vast majority of this decade. For inspiring a wealth of emotions and ideas in the mind of a British guy who you’ll never meet. For just, plain writing a good story.

And for making Marisa the biggest badass to grace the land.

Here’s to the 2020’s not sucking, and to the ever expanding list of stories written by Internet user Takerfoxx. Here’s hoping you find great success.

@diggertron, dude, you honestly have me feeling pretty humbled right now. I have to admit, it’s getting harder and harder not to see anything but the flaws when I look back on IM or RD, to the point when anyone compliments me about my writing my reflexive response is to be self-deprecating about my weaknesses, but this has helped me gain some more perspective about my older work, and for that I thank you, and am glad you have stuck around for so many years.

Hello! Do you know a lot about the current status of the hypmic plot?

i would say I'm pretty much up to date about everything yes? i've read all translations available and if not read summaries of all that hadn't been translated yet (such as the latest manga chapters, "don't play no game that i can't win" and the tdd track, and of course the last live's plot announcements+ new characters profiles)

the only thing i dont really know well are the bonus songs and their plots to which i only know vaguely what they are about (as in i have details on the Hifumi and Doppo tracks, vague knowledge of what happens in the Samatoki and Ichiro one, and no clue for the Saburo and Jiro one)

but else yeah i think i would say i know as much as possible as of now! i tend to track down info and translations ressources as much as i can.

if you mean as of when we get new infos, for now the last official lore came from the Enter the Hypnosis Microphone album, else of the manga update (BBvMTC is currently one chapter behind in publication which means next chapter will be its adaptation of Know your Enemy - FPvM adapted this track by now, both had included original stories or scenes in the chapters that preceeded. The TDD manga however is 100% new lore and i am mostly up to date. i think i just don't know exactly what happens in BBvMTC & FPvM chap 6 & TDD chap 6 and 7 i t h i nk if I'm not confusing some chapters- the chapters set between what was last translated and before i got well enough into the franchise to track down the updates, basically.)

We are getting official new plot content with the new divisions both on the 30th of October for Doitsutare Honpo and on the 29th of November for Bad Ass Temple. i suspect both will come with general plot advancement. (and of course with the monthly update of the 3 manga, TDD being the one with the most new infos to look out for)

the bonus tracks, while being bonus slice of life stuff, are set in the timeline of at least officially until after the /songs/ of ETHM (but could be set anywhere after that point, the only reason i say that is bc Hifumi and Doppo mentiond their vacations from Papillon) except the Samatoki and Ichiro one that is set somewhere, not precised, in the TDD days.

edit: and ah idk if you may mean that but i also have translations for the mic relay (no lore, tdd days) and the Alternative Rap Battle song (some characters lore, intro to the mobile game. i also have infos about the mobile game and how it connects to the lore/plot even if it is its separate entity and i guess the ARB song count as plot/lore? anyway im up to date with that and i'd say it is the latest released media, aside from the characters profil, to keep in mind). if ever that's what you mean.

Don't use reddit so am unsure how to search it up but how can I read skip beat on there. Every I used to read it either stopped updating ages ago or have deleted it off the platform I really need help.

I usually just open it on the web, i dont use the app n u can filter it to new and scroll down, they usually update 1 or 2 days after the japanese release so around 20th or 21st of every month, even if the translation arent up yet, usually the raw is there already if you want a general idea of what's happening in the new chapter. If for some unfortunate reason, the translator angel is busy n by the first of the next month, the translation is still not up, just search up tatsukida on google and she usually does a summary of the new chapter if no has done it yet. Or, if you really cant use the reddit site, you can also try this site :

Of corse I'm gonna let you post whatever you'd like to post, I just miss it a lot y'know :0

Well. Okay, I’ve talked about this a lot but I understand people don’t just read all my answers and it’s totally my fault for procrastinating on that faq page so let me just go through this again in an as clear way as possible?

I haven’t stopped drawing for hq! As a matter of fact in the last week alone I have posted one, two and three things for that fandom for a total of five portraits and a three panels comic

That said I understand with the rhythm I update this blog you might think “well, that isn’t much at all, is it?”, which, again, is my fault because - even though when compared to most art blogs’ update schedules eight drawing in one week is more than enough - I’m the one who set the rhythm here

The “problem” with hq is that all my favorite characters are currently absent from the manga and there’s no anime airing, while at the same time my other main fandom (bnha) has both an interesting arc going on in the manga AND an anime season airing right now - I hope you’ll understand if my interest at the moment is mostly focused there, that’s a continuous stream of inspiration I have coming my way

To add to that some parts of the Haikyuu!! fandom are being unrespectful of what I post (this includes reposting, treating my stuff as if it were templates for their own art instead of ship/character specific content, honestly unrespectful comments and tags under a lot of my main ships posts and so on) which, you’ll excuse me, but dampens the joy I get from posting art a lot

Moreover, the creative side of the hq fandom is being, at least for what concerns the zones I frequent, pretty damn quiet lately, so I can’t say I get much inspiration from there either

I haven’t stopped and I can’t see in my foreseeable future myself stopping posting stuff for haikyuu!!, and all things considered I don’t think I’m posting too little for it either? Art and inspiration aren’t things I want to force, if I started I would stop finding drawing enjoyable really damn fast and I can’t let that happen - please be understanding, I first and foremost draw for myself, I can’t help it if sometimes I get stuck on one fandom or another

Anon, my friend!!! I have drawn Daishou in the past! As a matter of fact the last one was just after he appeared again in chapter 251! I love that snake boy a lot, seeing him there made me really really happy haha

I still don’t think Kaminari is the traitor - as a matter of fact, I still don’t think the traitor is any of the kids. If that’s how it’ll turn out to be I’ll be sad about it, for sure, but right now I really, really don’t believe it. It’s true that the Kaminari-is-the-traitor theory is very cleverly worded and super convincing, but a lot of the things in it are really stretched out as far as I’m concerned

ie, taking the weird faces Horikoshi makes him make in the sketches and using them as proof that he’s got a double face? Too far out for me; his original design being that of a villain? Deku’s original design was villain-ish too, no one is calling him a traitor; taking the expression he made when Aizawa told him he could go to the camp and making it sound like he didn’t want to go? Might be believable as long as you don’t take into account the fact that he had just had a conversation with Midoriya in which he told him it was impossible Aizawa would let them go and that Midoriya was just being too optimistic, the “what the actual fuck is this” expression makes a lot more sense in that context; the fact that he makes clever quotes and uses a complex vocabulary used to say that he’s pretending to be stupid is unfair towards the very real possibility of him just not liking studying or thinking things through analytically but otherwise enjoying reading and being fairly intelligent in his own way?? - in the theory it’s also mentioned that it’s weird how during USJ he was worried about an electricity villain overcharging him as if that’s not perfectly normal, having an electricity quirk obviously doesn’t stop him from suffering overcharges, and later during the end of term exam they say it’s “weird” he refused to go all out with his qurik from the start, again, as if that weren’t a perfectly sensible decision in that context (you have to keep in mind that Kaminari is also studying to become an hero, him going “wait a second, maybe keeping on going stupid and putting myself out of commission every time I fight isn’t the right choice” is perfectly in line with him growing up and learning)

Now I don’t have the post open in front of me and it’s been a while since I’ve read it, but most of the theory as far as I get it is based on the idea that Kaminari can’t be lazy and an airhead and might talk without thinking now and again (the Stain comment), but at the same time be clever in his own ways, which just isn’t convincing for me. It’s taking this character’s three dimensionality and making it a plot-hole, why would you want to do that

(on a similar note, the Kirishima-is-the-traitor theory doesn’t convince me for the same kind of reason, it’s all based on the idea that he can’t just genuinely like Bakugou for who he is without having second reasons for it, which is just unfair and cuts too much off the personality of a really good, well written character)

As far as the new villain guy goes, I understand why most of the fandom might be weary and linking him to Kaminari, but we don’t know his color scheme nor his quirk and the pattern on his hair isn’t even a lightning bolt - Horikoshi has had to make up unique designs for a whole damn lot of characters, the fact that one random guy might have something similar to Kaminari isn’t really enough to make him his dad (again, it might turn out to be true, but in my opinion it’s still too early to make theories about it). Also, this guy is from the Eight Precepts. Weren’t you all trying to link Kaminari to the League of Villains? Isn’t the traitor supposedly tied with the League? How many people is this boy working for even

By the way, during the USJ attack the villains had informations they couldn’t have gotten from any of the kids aside from Midoriya (the “they told me All Might was getting weaker” comment) and tbh that’s enough for me to not believe any of the student is behind the informations leak, but all of this is just my opinion

WELP I don’t ship Bakugou with everyone so I can’t say I’m fond of the idea as a whole, and the ships I do ship Bakugou in are with the people that actually do like him for whatever reason (lmao), but I can understand why you’d find it a fresh take on the concept!

yooo im a new follower, so i dont know if the answer to this is "DUH" but... have you read tamen de gushi? (their story) it's a chinese webcomic manga, last i checked its all translated on manga fox. it updates pretty regularly. and its SO LESBIAN. and SO CUTE. and just so funny, and subverts the "blushy blushuuu but we are both girrrllss" manga trope that i personally am not fond of. It's my fav.
