If you throw a magnet at Alastor or Vox they jump back and hiss like cats

Valentino and Velvette figured this out years ago and literally hang magnets outside their doors if they don't want Vox coming in. To be clear a measly magnet would not kill em, it just fucks with em and maybe splotches of his screen go static and his voice gets modulated in a way he can't control. But it's enough of an annoyance it wards him off unless he actually has something urgent for them.

No he doesn't teleport through the cameras either, the magnet fucked with the electric fields juuust enough that when he tried that it flung him across the room straight into the wall. Wil E. Coyote imprint and everything. Had to get his screen replaced, wall fixed, etcetc.

Neither Alastor or Vox have figured out the other one has the same problem and thus have not used it against the other
