I could’ve sworn I saw that ‘97 LINER, SON RYUNG walking down the street! He’s the MAIN RAPPER of CHAOS and goes by the name of LEO. He really reminds me of BANG CHAN, can’t you see it?

ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹ

He has that gruff, outgoing personality, and strong characteristics now after years of mastering it – making Ryung able to stand his ground during interviews, or in really any setting that’s on or off stage. Becoming facially expressive and readily communicate with his emotional state and body language. Ryung started to become sure of himself while staying humble and true to himself throughout his career. Talking like he knows exactly what to say and when to say it. He has grown away from that timid man and into the idol the company wanted from the beginning. He works hard at developing his social relationships these days.

ＩＮＴＥＲＶＩＥＷ

Personalities within the industry were wide, yet the images were completely different within each group - concepts the most important. Ryung was worried about what the company would give him, being told that he was their experimental source for CHAOS, hoping to get him out of the quiet stage, to be the confident rapper they need to captivate the fans and earn respect from other idols. They needed someone who isn’t afraid to pull through, to be able to hold his own on stage and carry that confidence that takes rappers to the next level. They wanted him to be that rapper who could also succeed through the sheer force of his personality, being the soloist that can catch the attention of fans and other artists in the industry with her wits and intelligence; dominating the conversation with his intense single-mindedness. It was a complete 180 change that Ryung isn’t used to, and he doesn’t think he’ll ever get used to it. Of course, he was confident in his skills, but not enough to fit this widely confident man the company wants him to be. 

ＳＣＡＮＤＡＬ

Late 2017, Ryung was said to be taking a break due to health concerns and needing a break to take care of his body and mind. Some think it was due to drugs being involved, many were right, but the CEO would let such a thing be associated with the company’s name. They placed Ryung in rehab after getting him to record for CHAOS’ 2018 album. He had returned after five months of taking a hiatus and the fans gave him a warm welcome, though many have turned their back son Ryung for jeopardizing CHAOS name.

ＢＩＯＧＲＡＰＨＹ

“is this really something you want? you’re going into this company with no true knowledge, you don’t even know when you’ll debut, ryung.” his mother spoke to him the night before he moved into the trainee dorms. his whole life he did things for other people, made sure they were set with their decisions before he thought about himself. “i owe myself this much. i’m not getting any younger, i need to take this chance while it’s still being offered to me. and who knows…maybe i’ll debut and join the most popular group.” or he could fail and waste half of his youth chasing after such a dream. he would never know what could happen, that’s why he’s going to take the chance.

he left his family, his sister who always clung to him during her need of help. ryung was like the person you leaned on for everything because his kindness had allowed it. that type of personality seemed to be easy for others, using him until they get their fill, only to drop him when they got bored. you’d think the young boy was tired of that treatment, tired of being walked all over as a trainee - yet he kept smiling, kept trying to be nice. it broke him down for those four years of training, taking each and every punch to the gut from those he thought were friends.

it almost came as a shocker that he was getting placed into chaos, a no-named boy group at the time, seeing how quiet he grew. a quiet boy with such weird looks wasn’t fit for an idol in the eyes of those who trained much longer than him. yet, he got picked, and it boosted his confidence. the company gave him a drastic image to work with, saying it’s important that he uses this image to his abilities if he wants to be liked. ryung wanted to stay humble throughout it though, never wanting to be some overly confident guy that he knows can be hated.

after four years of being in this group, being in the music industry as a whole, you would think that ryung learned a few things about people. how selfish they can be, rude even. yet he tries to see the good in them, landing him in a ton of shit at the end.
