Frazie Does your mom know you're bunking with your crush? Not saying she's prejudiced just that most moms are not cool with teenagers being alone together like that

[Frazie] Gasp, how dare you imply I have a crush on Norma? And that we would be doing actions of the extra extramarital nature? What do you think of that, Norma?

[Norma] (Currently has Frazie sitting on her lap) (rolling her eyes)

[Frazie] Cease your silence, my bespectacled platonic roommate, and speak of this, my dear gal pal.

[Norma] (Gives her the 'are you serious?' look.)

[Frazie] (Pause) (Giggles) What?

[Norma] (Lets out an exasperated sigh, but grins nonetheless) Just ...you're a better acrobat than an actor, is all.

[Frazie] (Mock innocently, batting her eyes) About what? (Fake gasp) Oh, right, I almost forgot. (Grins widely) Me and Norma officially started dating, recently. And what a story of how it happened. It involved a romantic walk along the beach and me heroically saving her from drowning.

[Norma] (Rolls her eyes) I tripped in a steep drop when we wading through the water and pulled us both in.

[Frazie] And mom trusts me, trusts us. And I'm pretty sure Norma's mother trusts us. I mean ...it's not like I can get ...you know, pregnant or anything from Norma. Unlike with Dion and Gisu, who were giving strict instructions from Mom, Milla and Gisu's mom.

[Norma] (quickly) NOT that we are doing such things! I mean ...we-we-we just got together!

[Frazie] You're cute when you get all red like that. And in truth, me and Norma would have gotten together earlier, but- (stops herself) (Turns to Norma, who's face has an expression of grief) I'm sorry, I didn't want to-

[Norma] I'm not mad. It's just ...

[Frazie] (wraps her arms around Norma) Still, I shouldn't have brought that up so suddenly. I mean, it's for you and Lizzie to tell, not me. I'm sorry. (Plants a kiss on Norma's cheek)

[Norma] (softly) You're forgiven. (soft chuckle)

(Moments pass where the couple locked in their embrace, occasionally giving the other a kiss.)

[Frazie] (Pause) Are you okay?

[Norma] (Pause) (Deep breath) No. (blinks away a tear.) Oh, goddammit...

[Frazie] (Stands up and pulls Norma on her feet.) Let's go for a walk, just you and me.

[Norma] (deep breath, soft smile) That sounds ...perfect.

[Frazie] (softly) Let's go then.

Psychonauts 2: In this cutscene we will briefly have Raz’s older brother Dion and the skateboarding intern Gisu waggle their eyebrows at each other to imply romantic interest.

Psychonauts Fandom: Yeah yeah yeah, that’s nice. Hey, what if Raz’s older sister and the goth girl got together?

Psychonauts 2: Frazie and Lizzie? They don’t ever really interact--

Psychonauts Fandom: But they spend part of the game in sort of the same region of the Questionable Area, right?

Psychonauts 2: ...oh hell, we already have old gay psychics, you can have your teenage lesbian psychics.

"being led to the QA" implies that when lizzie drags adam over there dion is actively demonstrating her hydro powers lmao. which is honestly funny bc it implies that lizzie almost immediately went to go get adam and show him this

oh absolutely! lizzie sees that happen and immediately runs to adam like "dude you will not believe-"

this probably isn't anything, and maybe i'm not onto anything, but

Dion and Norma are similar in a small but sort of significant way. They're both mean/emotionally-constipated older siblings with more going on than their interactions with Raz explicitly show (but still imply). This could create an interesting dynamic between them (maybe something along the lines of hating the other for the flaws they share, like a whole pot & kettle situation)

if they would ever actually interact. Which, looking at them? No, they would not willingly interact with one another if they could help it. I get the feeling that even if they were locked into a small space together they'd find a way to ignore each other the entire time.

Maybe I'm just seeing parallels where there aren't any, but I feel like, if I put more thought into this, I could figure out why Norma and Dion feel like they're just shy of being foils in my mind. idk i'm just vomiting words into the askbox at this point

They are close to being foils and yet a million miles away. Dion is the eldest of a large, poorer family. Norma has only one sibling and has intimated that her family is well off and powerful. Dion already loves Raz but is working through a lot of anger and resentment that's partially generational and partially because of Raz's own actions. Norma sees Raz as a threat to...something. Her status I guess. She doesn't even respect him at first, much less feel warm in any way. And the very first thing we see of Norma and Lizzie are them working together seamlessly to prank him, so I don't think they have much of a sibling rivalry. I guess you could make them foils, but I don't know, I don't really see them having much of a rapport beyond Dion disliking her for causing issues for his brother and Norma's general snobbishness.

I am 100% open to being proven wrong on that though, if anyone wants to take a crack at it.
