me when I post a chapter in an established fanfic crossing over two massive, active fandoms that I thought had amassed a following considering it has 35 bookmarks on ao3: *crickets* *nothing for days*

me when I post a new Wingfeather short story: *immediately gets 3 kudos from guests* *has three comments within a week* *gets ten more kudos in that time*

Little fandoms are more grateful, I guess. Anyway if you've ever left me a comment or kudos on my Wingfeather fanfics just know that I love you 💜
