sorillion is arrested late 4th era / early 5th era. reports disagree on when and how, but it’s said that thalmor soldiers escorted him to the centre of town and executed him. the remaining nightengales retreated to an unknown location, along with three children.
recovered with their stash was the crown of barenziah and several thalmor dossiers never meant to be in the hands of the public. it is forbidden to have any knowledge of their contents. by order of high king ulfric stormcloak and his advisor gialdne adonin, anyone with knowledge must report to windhelm for questioning or risk being arrested.
there is no willing self-report.

Indabar Line, House Indoril
- Uleryth Indabar, patron and first son of his father’s line (12th generation Indoril noble dating back to a commanding position in Nerevar’s army)
- Raniil Indabar née Madalas, of House Dres but married into Indoril (third daughter, married both for love and political advantage, three years younger than her husband whom she met at age 13)
- Soriso Indabar, only son of Uleryth and given to the gods, fathered two sons and a daughter (generation 13 and former betrothed of Garyn Indoril before his untimely demise; had a huge crush on Tanval Indoril; married Remesi née Danoril from another Indoril minor family)
- Remesi Indabar née Danoril, second daughter of her father Sulan Danoril (an a Indoril armoursmith for the Tribunal Temple), gave birth to three children
- Talviso Indabar, first son of Soriso named after Tanval (the love of his life), dedicated temple patriarch and eventual hand of Almalexia, had fourteen children total (8 sons, 6 daughters; three wives)
- Llodnis Indabar, second son of Soriso and married off to a Telvanni woman when he asked to study magic for the Temple, maintains his wife’s family temple with his two sons
- Sovore Hlaalu née Indabar , first daughter of Soriso and therefore married off to a wealthy merchant when she expressed an interest in being a fashion designer, wildly successful, married Ondre Hlaalu (thrown out of morrowind late third era and fled An-Xileel), gave birth to one son
- Sorillion Indabar, only son of Sovore Hlaalu and grandson of Soriso, became a thief after arriving with the other members of House Hlaalu in skyrim, lives in riften with his wife and husband Karliah and Brynjolf, no children to his name

okay so Soriso met Abnur Tharn pretty early on and considered the man to be alright for an imperial. like they stayed up some nights just talking and maybe, were Soriso not stuck on Tanval Indoril still, he could have developed feelings for the man. as it were, they both talked about their respective loves and how it was hard to express how they felt. flash forward an era and Gideon takes one look at Jagar Tharn and cusses him out. they don’t get along at all.
that’s it, that’s the post.

soriso meets a psijic acolyte on his travels of the family adonin and leaves behind his studies on oblivion planes; their interaction leads to the birth of gialdne in the next era to her aetherius-obsessed parents
ashara adonin finds herself in a bad way when she joins the worm cult and finds herself with child from mannimarco. taking her child and running seems like the best option, hiding out in morrowind where news of the worm cult is few and far between. it’s there that she meets famed outlaw-pirate Daenra Yloril and her young son Gideon.

i’ve got it!
sorillion and maul are legally married, as it saves maul from working for maven. sorillion is too key to her hold over riften for maven to risk arguing over whether maul stays in her service. the two are platonically married; maul is the straight man helping to raise his best friend’s kids.

i know i said sorillion is spiritually married to brynjolf and karliah, but i feel like their dynamic is missing something.
most of my other characters have infidelity narratives (anabiel, faust) or have loveless relationships (gideon, soriso, gialdne). i want to break the mould a bit but i’m not sure what to do.
if y’all think of anything let me know; i’ll be prolly spam posting content today
