He then gets interrupted by Crowley bringing Aziraphale's drink, and his SASSY little boyfriend-mode "Helloooo~"

WELL. How are we all feeling? Hehe. No idea what to write here that won't spoil too much but AGH I love drawing weird and abstract stuff like dreams and sprinkle them with some creepy elements! So many cool concepts you can play around with!

Okay, now we're just being mean

Aziraphale was partly responsible for planning the fake birth trick in A Companion To Owls

He swapped his clothes with the executioner's so he wouldn't get in trouble for doing another frivolous miracle

He put Jeffrey Archer books in his shop so he'd have an excuse for why it smelled demonic

He came up with the idea of having humans search for Adam

He thought of the idea that "the number of the beast" might be Adam's phone number

He came up with the "half a miracle each" idea, which almost certainly would have worked had it not been for the totally unprecented fact that apparently he and Crowley's love (or something like that) somehow made it 25,000x more powerful

He came up with the "Oh, I did that miracle to make Maggie and Nina fall in love" story, which fooled the archangels and gave him and Crowley time to figure out what to do next

He figured out and successfully executed a way to steal the incriminating 1941 photo from Furfur in five seconds flat

He then took Crowley back to his bookshop to keep him safe in case the demons came for him anyway, because they couldn't get in there - which was probably 90% of the reason Aziraphale opened an "embassy" in the first place

He claimed the Bentley as his and Crowley's joint property so demons wouldn't be able to get into it without permission and kidnap Crowley anymore

The Jane Austen ball did help Maggie and Nina grow closer and precipitated what might yet turn out to be a romance between them

He opened the portal to heaven to discorporate the demons

And (drumroll please) he was the one who figured out that the Great Plan and the Ineffable Plan were different - arguably the hinge that the entire plot of Season 1, and probably Seasons 2 and 3 as well, turns on

And I know there's several more I'm forgetting.

He and Crowley are both incredibly savvy.

It is Aziraphale who protects first.

Many claim that it is Crowley who helps or saves Aziraphale the most, but from the beginning what happens is different. Aziraphale is the first to start and in all other restarts of this journey he does the same. The essence of Aziraphale is love, that love that was always shared for Crowley, and that would later be completely and exclusively for Crowley. That is, Aziraphale's love means Crowley.

I'm not excluding what Crowley did for Aziraphale, as the two are ready at any time for acts of love, affection and protection. Furthermore, I will not exclude the fact that they both also love Planet Earth and protect it, but above all, they protect each other, as they are each other's world.

Before the Beginning: Aziraphale is the first to help and warn Crowley to avoid any problems with Heaven. Crowley listened to his advice and thanked him for his help. Crowley is aware that he can count on Aziraphale.

Fresh start in Eden: Aziraphale is the one who starts to protect Crowley from getting wet and maybe it's because of their past in heaven and all the stories we don't know yet that Crowley leans so easily towards Aziraphale, who doesn't think twice and makes a gesture of care, affection and protects it from the first rain on Earth.

Fresh start in s03: Aziraphale takes the initial step to change their situation. He has faith, perseverance and will do his best to achieve everything Crowley deserves, after all, Aziraphale went to heaven for Crowley, to protect him, save him and get him freedom. That's what love is, it's care, it's thinking about who you love and fighting to see them smiling and Aziraphale wants that for Crowley. He wants to see you smiling along with him. And it will be.

💕 Rewriting their memories 💛

All of this is a bit obvious to state, we all know it, but I'm gonna say it anyway.

Though it absolutely ruined me and I haven't gotten rid of my stomach ache since watching it, the finale of season 2 was absolutely beautiful.

There is no music, none at all, I feel like the presence of silence behind a characters words in an emotional scene adds a sense of emptiness and loneliness to the emotions the characters are portraying. The sound of the grandfather clock ticking, the lack of sound you hear as Crowley is trying to collect himself, it feels more genuine and intimate.

And David's performance during Crowley's confession is heartbreaking, "And I would like to spend..." was literally the most I've ever related to a character in an emotional scene, that feeling when you're trying to let your words flow but the tears are trying to come in, gulping down the painful feeling in your throat as you try to say what you need to say. I felt it so hard, I knew exactly what he was feeling in that moment, maybe not completely on the emotional side, but physically, I knew exactly what that pain felt like. The sense of defeat on his face, the hurt in his heart, I could feel it.

Not even to mention Aziraphale's side of things, I mean, I wrote a whole long analysis on him and his feelings, I sobbed when I heard him talk and defend heaven, and yet again, I felt it.

Absolutely stunningly done, from Michael's famous micro expressions to the lack of music, to David's tears just barely forming in his eyes. It breaks my heart but I love it with my very being.
