It’s a silly little fanfic about some silly little ocs to YOU. to ME it’s a story about family and relationships and the trauma of childhood and memory and legacy and misplaced loyalties and the price of selfishness and guilt and the injustices of the american psychiatric system and how the american military purposefully fuels nationalism and propagandizes hero narratives to create its loyal cannon fodder and a piece on anti-war and anti-authoritarianism and how genuine love and community are our greatest strengths in the face of tyranny and sleep as a metaphor for safety and the deprivation thereof and most of all. it’s a story about a ragtag bunch of mentally ill queers with superpowers becoming enemies of the state and causing chaos across the western coast
