Realism. Portraits. Watercolor. Infusion. Trash Polka. What do they all have in common?... They are all genres that I’m very passionate about, and very dedicated to always pushing myself, my skills, and my abilities to keep myself challenged and growing. Even after 14, I don’t have a fraction of this industry figured out. I don’t have an insane social platform following on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok (but I still make posts, videos, and stories regularly). I don’t have a publishing deal, companies lining up to sponsor me, and my name has never been a head liner at a single tattoo convention. Why?... Well simply, because my passion has stayed in the same lane it started: The Art. I draw. I paint. I tattoo. I post. I build. I practice. I show gratitude. I value every client that had made my tattoo and art portfolios possible. I never started my journey for fame and popularity... “I just love to draw”. Swipe 👉👉 to see video of before and after! ••• #transformationtuesday I am VERY particular about which cover up requests I will accept: 👉How coverable is the old tattoo? 👉Is the client open to ideas that will WORK or do they have unrealistic expectations? 👉How do they talk about the artist that did their original tattoo they’re wanting covered? 👉How much scaring is present in their current tattoo? 👉How old is the tattoo they’re wanting covered? These and many other deciding factors come into play when I am presented with a cover up request. This one was a CHALLENGE! BUT! I could just SEE what I wanted to do to recreate this tattoo with the same idea, but completely different direction.
