Ever find yourself staring at the ceiling at 3 AM, your mind racing faster than a caffeine-powered sprinter? 😩🌙 Let's shake up your sleep routine and kick insomnia to the curb—no sleeping pills required.
First thing’s first: let's talk about your bedroom. It's time it becomes a snooze sanctuary 🛌. Keep it cool, keep it dark, and most importantly, keep your phone out! The blue light from screens? Total sleep killer.
Next up, your evening routine. A winding down ritual is key. Whether it's yoga, reading, or soaking in a warm bath, find what soothes you. Ease into sleep, don't crash into it.
But hey, if lying in bed is just making you frustrated, get up. Change the scene. A little light stretching or some calm music might just be the reset button you need.
And remember, consistency is your friend. Sync your sleep schedule like it’s your favorite playlist. Same bedtime, same wake-up time.
Let’s reclaim our nights, folks! 🌌 #SleepSanctuary #InsomniaHack
Keep these tips in rotation and prepare to catch those Zzz's like a dream. 🛌💤

InsomniaHack Trip Report
Insomni'Hack Info: https://insomnihack.ch/
Favorite talks Bridging the gap between ICS(IoT?) and corporate IT security Stefan Lüders I really enjoyed this talk hearing how an organization defends in a BYOD & academic environment. Defense is difficult when you control the hosts, even more so when you you cant instrument the host and have to rely on network controls only. My favorite slide was their alerting stack:
Not sure when the slides will be released but here is an older version of the talk I found: https://www.blackhat.com/docs/us-14/materials/us-14-Luders-Why-Control-System-Cyber-Security-Sucks.pdf How we hacked Distributed Configuration Management Systems Francis Alexander & Bharadwaj Machiraj Awesome talk on breaking into
HashiCorp Consul
Apache Zookeeper
CoreOS etcd
Tool they created: https://github.com/torque59/Garfield Modern reconnaissance phase on APT – protection layer Paul Rascagnères Fun talk on how APT have been implementing some checks to make sure the targets are valid prior to sending down the final stage of the attack. CERN @cktricky and I also were able to give the talk at CERN. Background info on CERN: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CERN Archive of the talk: Cool Pix:
