"so, you need'a promise me you won't get mad." birdie can barely find it in her to try masking her smile, she's far too excited. she opens their bathroom door to reveal an all-gray fluffball laying beside the toilet. "say hello to the newest addition of the family! . . . the gal said he's a super sweet 'nd cuddly fella.." clearly. he's already comfortable enough to stay asleep near them; that's a good sign. plus it should only take her a few extra minutes to clean up after a pet. no big deal. "hows about you give 'im a name?"
