It was a painful reality knowing that she couldn't reach the outside world. Normally she would be giving real-time updates on her stories from random homes in the Lake House. She would never drop a location until after she was gone, and now she was regretting it. At this point, someone would've come to look for her. Surely.. had she actually posted then they all would've been saved by now. "This is fucking stupid..." she tossed her phone on the counter, arms crossed as she looked over at her ex. "Like what the fuck exactly am I supposed to do... this is stressing me the fuck out."

"I'm getting you a drink, Bel, and you can't stay no. I'm injured, you totally can't turn me down," she greeted the older woman with a grin. The death of Derin was looming over her head, but Azra wasn't the comforting type, but rather the kind who tried to get people's minds off the hard losses they'd all faced. "What are we thinking? Vodka? Gin? We could go all the way and get Long Islands," she added, unable to physically pull Belkis with her but only gesture to the bar and begin to make her way there.

"I'm late, I know," Becca spoke, offering Belkis a smile as she sat down. She usually made her own coffee at home, but getting out of her house sounded like a good idea for once, especially when the company was right. "What'd you order? I'll just get the same," she added, gesturing to the drink infront of the other woman. In the meantime, she set her bag on the empty chair next to her, letting out a sigh and relaxing a bit, the weather nice and sunny for once.

"Got a dinner by the beach with our name on it," he grinned, still wanting to find ways to cheer his ex-girlfriend up, knowing he can only just imagine how painful it was to lose your best friend. "Got your favorites too."

“For you,” Toby said, handing her a pastry from The Daily Dose with a grin, trying not to feel sheepish. He’d had a crush on the middle Kaplan sister for as long as he could remember, but he never really did anything about it, mostly out of intimidation, which was funny because Belkis had to be one of the sweetest, least intimidating people in the world. He tried to think about what to say -- definitely trying to stay away from cheesy lines like how they were surrounded by pretty flowers but she was the prettiest one here -- but instead picked up a flower and dropping it almost immediately as he felt a prick on the inside of his palm. “Ow, damn,” Toby said, wincing slightly. “How can something so small hurt that much?” He asked with an embarrassed laugh.

"You know, with all the flowers you sell everyday, it must be nice to be the one receiving them too," Aleyna said as she held up some flowers she had gathered herself, which probably wasn't the best thing to give to someone who grew plants regularly, but buying the flowers from Poppies would have ruined the surprise. She waited until the flowers were out of her hands before she pulled Belkis in for a tight hug. "We don't have to talk about it if you don't want to," Aleyna whispered. "But I'm here if you need me."

Fey asked as she looked at her reflection in the mirror, wanting to get her nighttime skincare routine done before her sister started getting sleepy. "Saw your ex was back, but unlike that dick, Cam, I actually don't mind this one. He's still playing, right? You think he'd let me back in to his games after last time?" She asked with a snort of a laugh, remembering how embarrassed her sister had been, before she put the lip mask on.

After having been at the festival for a few hours, it was safe to say going to get a drink in the heat at the bar was becoming more frequent, running into the redhead on his way over. "Hey Belkis, having a good time?" Theo spoke, offering her a smile and thinking the last time the two had spoken must've been at Dee's house whenever she'd come over last. "Bella did a great job with all of this, it's a really nice turnout."

Jun found himself mindlessly browsing through the fiction section of the bookstore, searching for something that peaked his interest. While most of his reading had come in the form of medical research or textbooks, he did enjoy a good novel, picking out a few with obscure titles he'd never heard of, turning the corner before bumping into Belkis, the pair's books falling to the ground. He bent down, handing her one that looked unfamiliar. "This one must be yours," he spoke, offering her a light smile as an apology.

“Didn’t know you two knew each other,” Dom said, nodding towards Analu’s brother. He normally wouldn’t really care about people’s dates, but with things between him and Analu being completely different than they were months ago, and because he hadn’t seen that guy in town in months, and he suddenly walked in here with Belkis on his arm, Dom couldn’t help but feel a little curious. “You nervous about your speech? I figured you’d be asked to give one tonight.”

The program, loosely based on an accurate tale, follows Belky, a young lady and former guerilla striving to make a better life for herself in Bogotá. The program follows her as she pursues a medical education while battling the demons of her past.

4. "El Reemplazante" ("The Replacement")

Chile is a country.

Do you want to learn Chilean Spanish, which is fast-paced, slangy, and song-like? Then watch "El Reemplazante," a Chilean-produced television drama set in Santiago.

"El Reemplazante," tells the narrative of Carlos Valdivia, a successful financial executive who loses everything after being sacked and imprisoned. After being released from jail, he returns to his hometown of San Miguel, located south of Santiago. His father and brother persuade him to restart his life by working as a substitute math instructor.

Sadly, "El Reemplazante" only lasted two seasons. However, both seasons (24 episodes) are presently accessible on Netflix.

5. "Edha"

Argentina is a country.

"The" is a suspenseful thriller set in Buenos Aires. The main character is a young single mother and fashion business powerhouse who falls for a youthful and enigmatic man. Expect criminality, set-ups, mysterious deaths, and anything else to keep your adrenaline racing.

6. "Cuatro Estaciones en Havana" ("Four Seasons in Havana")

This is a miniseries, not a complete series, but it still has four episodes with fantastic plots in Cuban Spanish. Furthermore, each episode is an hour and a half lengthy, giving you plenty of opportunities to practice your Cuban accent and vocabulary.

Set in Havana in the 1990s, the show follows Mario, a morally upright police officer who challenges the corruption and immorality he sees around him.

The presentation looks at the history of Cuba's "Special Period" (after the fall of the Soviet Union). "Cuatro Estaciones en la Habana" was named Best Miniseries at the 2017 Platino Awards, recognizing excellent cinema and television in the Spanish-speaking world.
