Happy international cat rescuer day! 11 years ago I adopted my cat Mia and 8 years later I adopted Caela. Since adopting Mia I have lived in 3 states, 4 cities, and 10 apartments. In addition to all those changes Mia has stayed in hotels in 20 different states during 3 different road trips. The last road trip, in addition to my belongings I also traveled with both cats. It makes me sad when people adopt pets and at the hint of difficulty, give them away.
