Truly, truly, I'm so glad you found the info helpful. Thank you for sharing your success with me--it means so much, both in general and at this particular moment.

I'm not going to bring the mood down with details and drudgery, but obviously life in the Park Service is pretty bleak right now. It really says a lot about your skills and the strength of your application that you were hired during a period of time in which literally everything is working against you. I hope you have an amazing season and that it leads to great things. Congratulations a hundred times over. Enjoy that badge.

This is some VERY old barn husbands doodle like I think around December 2022 so please don’t mind the old art style 😭😭 but I remember having the idea of drawing Earthspark Cade and Optimus,,,

because I feel like it would just be so. FUNNY to have the LEADER OF THE AUTOBOTS develop a huge crush on this AverageTM mechanic guy living about his life. Like he just sees him around Witwicky while scouting the area and gets so mesmerized, he crashes into a Tree. and Megatron starts taking notice and makes fun of him for it.

Also like their first meeting could be the Terrans eventually get involved in something and end up in his backyard (he lives in the country side of witwicky, not in town) and he helps them. And when he helps them back home or something, Optimus sees him and like, Freezes before thanking him (poorly) (hes stuttering like hell) and Cade is like, “no problem! Yk, this might sound real corny but I’m a big fan of you and your team.” all sweet and embarrassed but OP is just like Freaking. Tf. Out. (Internally) LIKE!!!! imagine!!!!!

The Terrans have like no clue and think nothing of it but Dot looks up and Megatron and he just Nods, smiling. Bumblebee just has a midlife crisis thinking about how he might have a Dad2.

Thought I've had about Puppeteer AU (for the first time in months. yes. surprise)

What if Pomni, as the last one standing, stumbled upon a portal into an old adventure in her attempts to hide from Gangle. Maybe it glitched back into existence in the mayhem, opening temporarily, so she goes for it. Maybe it's the Candy Canyon Kingdom so she gets to meet with an old friendly face as she catches her breath. She could even try to recruit the kingdom as allies in the fight against Gangle; with such a large number of NPCs on her side she could stand a chance to defeat her and free her human friends, right?

Meanwhile back at the circus Gangle keeps searching the grounds, increasingly frustrated, as she isn't as powerful as Caine was yet and doesn't know (and might not be able to access) where she vanished to. Jax taunting her about her failure of course. The others wonder what happened to Pomni as well, amongst themselves... hopefully she's not lost in The Void...

Aequillibria as what seems to be a debugging algorithm or antivirus is honestly really fascinating to me ngl. especially given that it's seemingly the source, or at least distributor, of all mana and thus all life on lore.

When it said "assessing the state of the shell" it obviously meant Lore, or perhaps the universe/reality at large. but a shell in the context of computers is the part of the system that allows other things (programs and users) to access the operating system.

So how I understand it, mana is the operating system. the universe is the shell. Every individual on Lore is a program (or user) that is accessing and modifying the system via that shell.

In a bunch of quests during the Maleurous questline, we ended up doing text-based adventures where the entire game briefly became a command line interface, which is one of the ways a shell can be presented, the other being a graphical user interface. If we think about the idea of the universe being a shell, reality as we typically know it would be a GUI. That we briefly entered a CLI at multiple points makes me think there was some next-level reality-bending taking place that will probably have even more relevance than it already seems.

I'm mainly just thinking some rather sad thoughts about the ways that this could wind up being a "it was all a dream"-level bit where the events of dragonfable, the entire Reset, only really happen as a simulation on the computers of The Mage. After all, how is a computer actually supposed to reboot the entire universe? The closest it can get is creating a bunch of programs so sophisticated that they simulate the people they were meant to be all the way down to believing they're alive.

Then again, it could also all just be one big fourth wall reference- acknowledging that this universe takes place in- is- a computer game. That seems pretty in-line with the AE style of things.
