The road to redemption is a rocky path. <•~•~•> “When we focus too much on our end game, we can miss the fun of the journey; we can miss the detour that would take us somewhere even more rewarding." 💜💛💜💛💜💛 I’m so excited to announce that I will be joining the Waldorf University cross country and track team this fall. I can’t wait 😊 to become an official warrior and run 🏃🏻‍♀️ with my new teammates. I am still so grateful for the wonderful opportunity that I took at Iowa central, I am incredibly blessed to have my teammates and coaches here by my side encouraging me through the tough times; I learned how to steeple this year and I couldn’t have done it without all of you who believed in me. It wasn’t easy for me at first, but I am proud that I could overcome that fear. It’s been a good 3 years at Iowa Central! Thank you to Iowa Central, swimming and all the friendships I’ve made throughout it all. Now it’s off to New York! 💙🔱🗽🌇📚🏊🏻‍♂️

So Nationals…after failing math last year (fall 2021) I wasn’t eligible to swim. So this was my comeback to swimming and nationals didn’t go as planned. I got a couple season bests but I’ve also had 3 coaches and some ups and downs. I managed to push through it all and go to nationals with Iowa Central one last time 💙🔱🧜🏻‍♂️
