oh god im on a reread and...draxum telling cass to grow out her hair. he wears his hair long because warriors in his cultures do. im not okay after this.

What's funny is that Draxum still isn't calling Cass his daughter, lol. If you asked him now he'd probably be like "well, she's very talented for a human, but of course all humans can be improved." And then still refuses to mutate her because he has a hard time thinking how she could ever be better.
