Acer Aspire Notebooks and Netbooks
Acer Aspire Notebooks and Netbooks HP's entry-level case comes with the standard keyboard, which we have seen many times. The typing feel when working with the HP 15-db1002ng is okay, but a matter of taste. The rough surface of the keys prevents slipping and the keys are well arranged. The stroke is short but satisfactory, the back pressure is good. The faster i7 then costs 6,199 yuan (about 809 euros). Prices will probably be higher in Germany. For smartphones, the standardized 5 volts are enough, which is common with smart device power banks. Half of these reserves are in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a country characterized by political unrest. Up to 90 percent of mines work directly or indirectly for various local warlords who use the proceeds to finance subsequent conflicts in the Congo's civil war. Either the workers produce directly for the warlords' coffers, or the mine operators have to pay protection money. It was described that this is more likely to have to do with the new SSD hard drive and possibly with the BIOS. If I understood that correctly, you would have to reset the bios and when I read that you have to unscrew everything to operate the jumper or you have to briefly remove the battery etc. The main elements that determine and influence growth market data and analyzes are derived from a combination of primary and secondary sources. Each section of the report contains important information about the global LiFePO4 prismatic battery market that could be used for strong growth in the coming years. “If one of them fails individually, it has no impact on the rest. This architecture makes the battery completely safe and prevents thermal runaway and explosions. “The larger surface area of the anodes also results in a significantly increased charging speed. According to D'Couto, the battery should be charged to 80 percent within 15 minutes.
If you travel a lot and want to take your laptop with you wherever you go, a particularly lightweight mini notebook can be a good choice.
I would be happy to answer you.
If in doubt, ask the manufacturer.
I installed a Bluetooth adapter on my stereo.
If you are new here, take a look around and log in to take part in the forum.
Of course, a corresponding WLAN ac router must be available in order to take full advantage of this speed.
The chip will probably have 6 GB or optionally 8 GB RAM and optionally 128/256 GB storage space. The latter should be expandable by up to 512 GB via microSD. The range drops significantly at low temperatures (35% less range is not uncommon in winter). Charging up to 100% takes a particularly long time. For this reason, the charging time is often only given up to 80%. The batteries from old silicon wafers should last much longer and offer a higher energy density and security. because, different country computer is different, please look at this picture and check. If you rarely transport your notebook, you can even consider a large 17-inch model. In 2018, the Financial Times compiled a ranking of the 1000 fastest-growing companies in Europe - SBS came in 475th. Focus Money also recognized the success. The number of employees rose from four to 54 in the beginning. In view of this development, the decision was made in Kleinostheim to invest. Charging takes a long time compared to burners (including hydrogen and gas). With occupied charging stations, this is an even greater disadvantage. Yes and no. The statement is true, but only for nickel-cadmium batteries.

Ubuntu Start Docker On Boot
Tumblr media
Docker is a combo of ‘platform as a service’ products and services which use OS virtualisation to provide software in packages called containers.
Ubuntu Start Docker Container On Boot
Ubuntu Start Docker Container On Boot
Ubuntu Start Docker On Boot Safe Mode
Ubuntu Start Docker On Bootable
Containers contain everything an app, tool or service needs to run, including all libraries, dependencies, and configuration files. Containers are also isolated from each other (and the underlying host system), but can communicate through pre-defined channels.
Ubuntu will download the latest version of Docker from its archives, unpack it, and install it on your system. Step 2: Make Docker start automatically on system boot: sudo systemctl enable -now docker. Step 3: Test it. Now that Docker is installed and running you should verify that everything is working okay. This can be done using the hello. A minimal Ubuntu base image modified for Docker-friendliness. Baseimage-docker only consumes 8.3 MB RAM and is much more powerful than Busybox or Alpine. Baseimage-docker is a special Docker image that is configured for correct use within Docker containers. It is Ubuntu, plus: Modifications for Docker-friendliness. To start a stopped container, use docker start, followed by the container ID or the container’s name. Let’s start the Ubuntu-based container with the ID of d9b100f2f636: docker start d9b100f2f636; The container will start, and you can use docker ps to see its status.

This introduction to Docker video will give you a quick top-level overview of the tech and how it works:
Because Docker is open source software it’s not only free to use, but free to adapt, extend, hack, or build on. In this guide I cover installing Docker on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa), but the same steps may also work on older versions of Ubuntu, including Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
In this post you will learn how to install Docker from the regular Ubuntu repository, how to enable Docker to start automatically at system boot, and how to install Docker images and run them locally.
But this isn’t a deep dive. This tutorial is intentionally short and to the point. This is so you spend less time reading and more time doing.
Install Docker from Ubuntu Repository
There are two hard requirements to install Docker on Ubuntu 20.04:
This MacBook Air is available by default with either 128 GB or 256 GB of SSD storage but it also could be configured with a 512 GB or 1.5 TB SSD at additional cost. The 512 GB storage originally was an extra US$400 or US$200 increase from the 128 GB and 256 GB options, respectively; and the 1.5 TB storage was an extra US$1200 or US$1000. The M1 chip brings superfast unified memory to MacBook Air. This single pool of high-bandwidth, low-latency memory allows apps to share data between the CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine efficiently — so everything you do is fast and fluid. Your MacBook Air comes standard with 8GB of memory and can be expanded to 16GB. Update itunes macbook air. Testing conducted by Apple in October 2020 using preproduction MacBook Air systems with Apple M1 chip and 8-core GPU, as well as production 1.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7-based MacBook Air systems with Intel Iris Plus Graphics, all configured with 16GB RAM and 2TB SSD. Tested with prerelease Shapr3D 3.45.0 using a 288.2MB model. My Macbook Air is the old one bought in 2015, but I recently updated it to MacOS Catalina, so I followed the guide to reset it under your Catalina instructions. I managed to erase the Macintosh HD Data volume, but when I tried to erase Macintosh HD it said “Erase process has failed”.
Ubuntu Start Docker Container On Boot
You need to have sudo access
You need to be connected to the internet
If you’re managing or setting up an Ubuntu server then you (probably) meet both of these requirements already, but do check before you begin.
Step 1: Install Docker from the main Ubuntu repository. Do this using the apt command and the docker.io package name (note: the package name is not simply ‘docker’):
Ubuntu will download the latest version of Docker from its archives, unpack it, and install it on your system.
Download high sierra to usb. There are few applications that you need to download in-order to successfully create a bootable USB Flash Drive to install macOS High Sierra Windows 10 PC. High Sierra Bootable USB Installer FOR WINDOWS PC. The macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 update improves the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac, and is recommended for all users. This update:. Improves compatibility with certain third-party USB audio devices. Improves VoiceOver navigation when viewing PDF documents in Preview. Improves compatibility of Braille displays with Mail.
Step 2: Make Docker start automatically on system boot:
Step 3: Test it.
Now that Docker is installed and running you should verify that everything is working okay. This can be done using the hello-world app. From the command line run:
When you run this command you’ll see a lengthy message informing you that the ‘installation appears to be working correctly’.
But look closely at the message:
You’ll notice something interesting near the start: Docker was ‘unable to find’ the a ‘hello-world’ image. But instead of quitting it searched for and downloaded it from Docker Hub.
Ubuntu Start Docker Container On Boot
Which leads us neatly on to…
Step 4: Find and install Docker images.
Now you’re set-up the world (or rather the Docker ecosystem) is your oyster, and Docker Hub your port of call. Docker Hub is billed as ‘the world’s largest library and community for container images’. Any image available on Docker Hub can be installed on your system too.
Let’s look at how to do that.
Tumblr media
To search for an image on Docker Hub run the docker command with the search subcommand, like so:
For example, I want to search for Alpine Linux on Docker Hub so I run docker search alpine. A list of matching images (which match the term alpine) will appear. I want the official Alpine image so I look in the OFFICIAL column for the word OK
When you find the image you want to use you can download it using the pull subcommand, For example, to install Alpine Linux I run sudo docker pull alpine.
Install docker on oracle linux 7. To run a downloaded image you need to add the run subcommand and the name of the image, e.g., sudo docker run alpine.
If you want to run an image as a container and get instant ‘interactive terminal’ shell access add the -it flag. For example: I run sudo docker run -it alpine and it drops me straight into the Alpine container, ready to work:
To exit the ‘interactive terminal’ type the word exit and hit enter.
Check out the Docker Docs page for a wealth more info on how to use, admin, manage, and maintain your containers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ubuntu Start Docker On Boot Safe Mode
A couple of useful commands to know include docker ps -a to list all images you’ve used (and see their container ID/name); docker stop (container id) to close an image down; and when you’re done with a container remove it using the docker rm command, again adding the the container ID/name at the end.
Ubuntu Start Docker On Bootable
Going Further
In this guide we looked at installing Docker on Ubuntu 20.04 and getting official images installed. But this is only the beginning of what possible with Docker.
One possible avenue to explore is installing Docker rootless. This is an experimental feature and not (yet) easy to enable. But the effort required to set it up is worth it if you’re concerned about security and stability.
If there are topics you want to see a similar to-the-point tutorial on (be it Docker related or otherwise) do drop a note down in the comments or via my usual e-mail.

LG G8 ThinQ Price in Nepal with full features and Specifications
Recently, LG has announced its new flagship the LG G8 ThinQ at MWC 2019. As we know, it's a feature pack flagship smartphone. Seriously some of its features are really cool. So today we are going to review LG G8 ThinQ Price in Nepal. With its full specification and features. Well, let's take a look at this brand-new LG G8 ThinQ. The LG G8 looks like your usual LG flagship phone with a nice attractive design. Actually, this phone has flagship specs and good cameras. So, why don't we look at its highlights? The highlights are: The dual cameras on the front. Among them, the first one is usually a front facing camera. But, the second one is a 3D time of flight sensor which lets the LG G8 do some really cool things. Hand ID Features. Yes, if you are familiar with face ID, that was cool. But, LG G8 has the 3D camera that recognizes the different characteristics of the veins in your palm. These features let you unlock the phone with your hand. You can now add your palm hand ID which is awesome. This is really cool. Now, you can just hand over the phone to unlock the phone. nice right? Although it's not so intuitive. Okay, Similarly, it has another cool feature called Air motion. With air motion, you can bring your hands in front of the camera and do different gestures to open apps, play or pause music, control volume, take screenshots etc and a lot more. let me tell you that gesture Can be used to open up Google Maps or the music app. You can use these useful gestures to increase or decrease the volume on YouTube or any other app as well. This gesture is like controlling the volume knob. It's really fun and as I said, there are a lot of other cool gestures here and I like the fact that you can customize the apps. You can open apps with a motion look. Actually, these gestures are a lot of fun. The 3D face unlocks on LG G8 is really useful. Actually, it captures a 3D map of your face and that means the face unlock on the LG G8 is not only fast but it is fairly accurate. This 3D face Unlock even works at night so, yeah it's definitely nice. LG G8 ThinQ Design and Display Coming to the design, LG G8 looks like your usual LG flagship phone with a nice attractive design. Actually, this phone has flagship specs and good cameras. Firstly, here is a regular glass and metal sandwich design. Actually, I like how compact and lightweight this phone is. This phone is really cool apart from that the LG G8 ThinQ packs in everything on the design front. like literally everything. So you get the IP68 rating usual buttons a dedicated google assistant button as well a physical fast fingerprint scanner. The USB type-C port and the headphone jack. yeah, LG is still sticking to the headphone jack which is great. Literally, I like the LG G8 flagship audio capabilities. They are pretty good. The phone features the boom sound speaker with Quad DTSX 3D surround sound technology. It also features a new sound on display technology which uses the screen as an audio amplifier. Hence the audio capabilities on the phone are great. Specifications overview of LG G8 ThinQ Coming to the specs. Now, the LG G8 ThinQ features a 6.1-inch QHD+ OLED display with HDR 10 support. This phone is powered by the latest and the greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It comes with 6 GB ram 128 GB storage. Furthermore, it has dual camera setup of a 12-megapixel f 1.5 primary sensor with a 16-megapixel f 1.9 super wide angle lens. LG G8 ThinQ is powered by a 3500 mAh battery. Cameras on LG G8 The Brand New LG G8 ThinQ Camera has some really cool features. It has dual camera setup of a 12-megapixel f 1.5 primary sensor with a 16-megapixel f 1.9 super wide angle lens on the rear. The Front camera has 8MP selfie shooter and 3D time of flight sensor. First of all, there's a new spotlight mode in the portrait mode which did not really make a lot of impact in eye unit here. But it can help you capture some really attractive portrait mode. Another cool feature is ported mode for videos. So, you can now shoot videos with background blur and in a short time with this feature, it seemed to work great. As I already mentioned, Apart from the rear camera the 8-megapixel selfie camera also seems pretty good and thanks to the 3D time-of-flight sensor. Because it can take some pretty sweet portrait selfies. LG G8 Price in Nepal and Availability The expected price of LG G8 ThinQ in Nepal is Rs 85,000. Coming to the availability in Nepal, we don't have confirmed details but it is expected to be launched on April 2019. The color variant is available in Silver, Dark Blue, and Midnight Black color. LG G8 ThinQ Impression Overall the LG G8 ThinQ is a feature pack flagship smartphone. It has got robbed in line specs capable cameras and again thanks to the 3D time of flight camera sensor. There are some fun features like air motion and Palm hand ID mode. Here actually, I call these features fun and not really useful. As to be honest, these features don't necessarily make the LG G8 ThinQ a great smartphone. But, even if you ignore that, this is a pretty solid flagship smartphone. Wrapping up Finally, we have reviewed LG G8 ThinQ Price in Nepal with full specs, features, and comparison. If you do have any personal thoughts on this phone then do let us know in the comment section below. However, That's all for LG G8 ThinQ Price in Nepal, see you in the next article. One Plus 7T Review: An Incredible Phone for a Reasonable Price
Today, the OnePlus 7T goes on sale in the US, and I can safely say that if you’re in the market for a new phone, it should be a front-running contender. Loaded with flagship features, at $599 the 7T is almost a no-brainer. Let’s take a look at why I think this is the best phone for your money.
If you haven’t picked up a new smartphone in a few years, you’ll be in for a bit of sticker shock when looking at what’s available: Prices starting at $749.99 are the norm for mid-tier models with flagships starting in the $1000 range. :choke:
What’s a prospective buyer on a budget supposed to do? One excellent option has always been the phone models offered by OnePlus, a company who prides themselves on their tagline #neversettle. Over the last few years, they have really begun to enforce that promise.
The OnePlus 7T features a 6.55″ 3D Corning Gorilla Glass AMOLED display with a smooth 90 Hz refresh rate (like we saw on the recent 7 Pro). The 7T runs on the latest and most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ mobile platform, and it comes with 8GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB user memory. The 7T has an excellent, accurate, and fast in-display fingerprint sensor, but it can also be unlocked via PIN or facial unlock (which is equally fast and accurate).
Included in the box are the OnePlus 7T, a 30W Warp Charge 30T wall charger, a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable, a SIM tool, a quick start guide, a welcome letter, safety information, a warranty card, a OnePlus logo sticker, and a clear TPU case. A non-glass screen protector comes already installed on the phone right out of the box.
The OnePlus 7T measures approximately 6.3″ long by 2.9″ wide by 0.3″ thick, and it weighs 6.7 ounces. Its body is composed of  3D Corning Gorilla Glass on both the front and back; the side rails are aluminum. In hand, the phone feels really good; it’s sleek and well-balanced, and while the phone is elongated, it doesn’t feel top-heavy. I like that the display is flat rather than curved like the 7 Pro was. I’ve come to realize that although I like how curved edge glass looks on a device, for actual use I prefer a flat display. On the top center of the display, there is a little “waterdrop” notch that houses the 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
The 7T is available in either Frosted Silver or Glacier Blue I was sent.
Specifications
Display: 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED (2400×1080; 90Hz) Rear Cameras: 48 MP (ƒ/1.6); 16 MP ultrawide lens (ƒ/2.2); 12 MP telephoto lens (ƒ/2.2) with 2x optical zoom Front Camera: 16 MP CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ Operating System: Android 10 RAM: 8GB User Storage: 128GB MicroSD: No Battery: 3,800 mAh with Warp Charge 30T
Here’s a clearer shot of the notch; it’s really small and unobtrusive. At the top of the phone, there is a microphone. If you look closely, you’ll see the long narrow ear speaker that also functions as a second speaker for dual stereo sound. Speaking of stereo sound through the speakers, it’s actually pretty impressive. While it’s not loud enough to rock a room, the Dolby Atmos sound is rich and strong enough so that you can enjoy playing a game or listening to music without feeling like you need to stream to a better speaker; this also makes for an excellent speakerphone experience.
On the right side, there is a power button and a mute switch. The textured mute switch has three locking positions: ring, vibrate, and off.
On the left side, there is a volume rocker.
On the bottom, there is a Dual SIM tray, USB Type-C port, and the second speaker.
On the back, there’s a circular cluster that houses the triple camera lenses and the LED flash. The cameras include the main 48-megapixel lens, a 12-megapixels telephoto lens, and a 16-megapixels ultra-wide lens.
Battery Life
The OnePlus 7T has a 3,800 Lithium-Ion battery that can last for about 8 hours with my typical use which leans heavily on surfing, reading news sites, perusing and posting to social media, writing and answering emails, playing word games, taking lots of photos, and reading Kindle books. The good news is that when charging is required, the all-new Warp Charge 30T will get the battery from 0 to 70% in around a half-hour. The 7T doesn’t have wireless charging, but since that is more about convenience than speed, I’m okay without it.
Speed
I have zero complaints regarding the 7T’s speed. Between the 8GB RAM and the Snapdragon 855+, there are no stutters or stalling whatsoever; it is fast and smooth. Realize that I am not a huge gamer, but I am a power user — and I’ve had to suffer through weird stalls and stutters on other devices (:cough: Pixel 3 XL :cough:). The combo of 8GB RAM with the 855+ on the 7T is the virtual equivalent of a chef’s kiss. I like that the 7T comes loaded with Android 10 right out of the box, and OnePlus’s OxygenOS doesn’t add a lot of unnecessary bulk to the stock Android experience.
Camera
Judge for yourself!  Each one of the photos below is a thumbnail. Click on one to open the gallery where you can see larger unedited photos. I’m in Hong Kong for the next few days, so I’ll add a few more as I take them.
The camera feature that really shines for me is the macro setting. I realize that this may be a niche request, but not many phones have cameras that can handle being so close to something and picking up as much detail. Check this out …
Regular picture of a 50 Yuan bill.
Macro photo of the detail at the bottom of a 50 Yuan bill.
Yeah … wow.
The Display
The OnePlus 7T’s AMOLED display features a 90 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a 20:9 aspect ratio; this all combines to make for an excellent experience when watching movies, reading, or playing games. The notch is so tiny and unobtrusive, you can almost forget that it’s there.
Gotta love the near bezel-less display!
Depending upon what you are looking at, you may not even see it.
In bright sunlight, you will notice the screen is a bit harder to see, but that’s typical so I’m not holding it against the 7T.
Overall, the OnePlus 7T has proven to be one of the fastest, brightest, and most perfectly sized (for my hand, anyway) phones that I’ve ever used. When compared to my daily driver, the Pixel 3XL, I’m blown away by the 7T’s speed and how much bigger (and nicer) the screen is. The 7T’s features and build make it perform like a flagship phone, but the price makes it much more budget-friendly than most. If you are in the market for an affordable new Android phone with all the bells and whistles, the OnePlus 7T is the one to beat.
The OnePlus 7T retails for $599, and it is available directly from the manufacturer and from T-Mobile.
Source: Manufacturer supplied review sample
What I Like: Super fast and smooth; Excellent build quality; Beautiful and brilliant screen with 90 Hz refresh rate; Dual SIM; Ships with Android 10; Itty-bitty waterdrop notch in the center top of the display; Gorilla Glass display and bak; Excellent stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound; Super fast charge; Free case and screen protector included; In-display fingerprint reader is super fast and accurate
What Needs Improvement: No memory card slot; No wireless charging; Battery life, so the Warp Charge 30T is very handy if you are a power user

Top 10 Best Free Smartphones Without Contract
Tumblr media
Have you ever taken the time to walk into a Verizon or AT&T store? You’ll commonly see some phones that cost 0$. On that shelf you’ll see some phones that can’t connect to the internet at all, old phones from 3 or 4 years ago, and cheap knock off. It sort of makes you think: you really get what you pay for when you go for a free phone. Since you’re paying nothing, you’re getting nothing. There are times, however, when you find a really decent phone for no money on it at all. Some companies will give you discounts for phones in a size that isn’t so popular with customers. Other phones will see their prices plummet from their pedestal just a year after they are released. Even some of the best brands out there, like LG, HTC, Samsung, and Apple, see their flagship models eventually drop in prices.
Tumblr media
You could get those phones, of course, and enjoy a great bargain in the process. But you will still have to deal with the face that they come with a contract, which locks you onto the providing company’s network. SIM-free phones are rising in popularity every year. Flagship phones that go on sale can be forbiddingly expensive. The iPhone X, for example, cost something like $999 when it was first released. It may make a lot more sense to buy phones that are SIM free and unlocked, and then get a SIM only deal later in order to get a proper bargain. Here we prepared a list of the very best SIM free handsets on the market. iPhone X
Tumblr media
The iPhone X comes with a screen size of 5.8 inches. That’s pretty good considering we’re dealing with Apple, who only recently began to get the screen size right on their phones. The resolution, as would be expected of a premium iPhone, is pretty high at 1125 pixels by 2436 pixels. The real camera has a resolution of 12 megapixels, which makes for some crisp pictures. The storage is either 64 GB or 256 GB and the RAM is 3 GB. The phone weighs very little at 174 grams and the battery has a capacity of 2716 mAh. Of course this is an ambitious start. We’re starting with the biggest phone on this list. The iPhone X is arguably the most significant iPhone launched since the very first iPhone, the iPhone 3G was launched 10 years ago. If you’re wondering why we skipped from the iPhone 8 straight to the iPhone X without having an iPhone 9, then there’s your answer: the iPhone X is read as “iPhone Ten” and that’s because it was launched a decade after the very first iPhone. That’ makes it pretty important. Recommended Articles For You: How to Get A Free Smartphone Online A Complete Guideline The 5 Best No Money Down Cell Phone Plans Switch To Boost Mobile From Metro PCS 2018 Apple has been piling up those incremental upgrades on its phone but went full on no holds barred with the iPhone X. You get Face ID which gives you the magic power of unlocking your phone just by staring at it. You also get a pretty cool 5.8 inch super retina HD display with absolutely no bezel. The whole front of the phone is the screen except for the speaker. You also get wireless charging, iOS 11, and, best of all, Animojis! Samsung Galaxy S9
Tumblr media
The weight on this phone is 163 grams. The dimensions are 147.7 mm by 68.7 mm by 8.5 mm. It operates on the Android Oreo operating system. The screen size is 5.8 inches, which makes it the same size as the screen on the iPhone X. The resolution is 1440 pixels by 2960 pixels. The phone runs on an Exynos 9810 Octa processor. It comes with 4 GB RAM. For storage you get to choose between 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB options. The battery has a great capacity at 3000 mAh. The rear camera has a healthy 12 MP resolution while the selfie camera has a resolution of 8 MP. This is one of the best Android phones on the market. You can get it on preorder from lots of places. If you want it on preorder, you’ll have to part with about $700. Understandably, that’s a hefty amount. However, you can read on to see some of the other options that are there on this page.    iPhone SE
Tumblr media
This phone weighs 143 grams. It has dimensions of 123.8 mm by 58.6 mm by 7.6 mm. It operates on iOS 10 at the moment. The screen has a size of 4 inches. The resolution on this phone is 640 pixels by 1136 pixels. It comes with an Apple A9 chipset. The RAM is 2 GB while the storage comes in 16 GB and 64 GB options. The battery has a capacity of 1624 mAh. The rear camera is actually pretty decent with a resolution of 12 MP while the selfie camera comes with a more modest resolution of 1.2 MP. If what you’re looking for is a cheap iPhone then you can’t really go wrong with the iPhone SE. It’s one of the best SIM free iPhones you can buy right now. It’s not as powerful as the later iPhones, but it’s definitely stronger than the iPhone 5S while maintaining its size, which is an okay for anyone who wants an iPhone like they used to make them; without the massive screens. Moto G6
Tumblr media
This phone comes with a weight of 167 grams. The dimensions are 153.8 mm by 72.3 mm by 8.3 mm. It operates on the Android 8 Oreo OS. It has a screen size of 5.7 inches, which pits it against other standard smartphones like the iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy S9. The screen has a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels. The CPU is an Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53. It comes with either 3 Gb RAM or 4 GB RAM while the storage comes in options of either 32 GB or 64 GB. The battery has a capacity of 3000mAh. The rear camera has a resolution of 12MP while the selfie camera has a resolution of 5MP. Motorola has been known for making affordable smartphones for quite a few years. The Moto G6 is a great phone for its price. It’s a great improvement on its predecessor, the G5, in many ways. The screed, which is HD+ and LCD, is one of those improvements. The screen size is also an improvement. In fact, the Moto G6 Plus has an even larger screen. The resolution on the screen is also better. The other features, such as the CPU, the RAM, and the 12 MP rear camera put this phone on nearly the same level as phones which cost twice as much If you want a good phone that won’t cost you an arm or a leg, then you’ll appreciate this gem. Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Tumblr media
This phone has a massive screen size of 6.3 inches. The resolution on the screen is 2960 pixels by 1440 pixels and it’s a Quad HD+ screen. The rear camera is 12 MP and has a dual lens. The weight is a little on the heavier side at 195 grams. The operating system is the Android 7.1.1. The RAM is 6 GB while the storage comes in options of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. It also accepts external storage of up to 256 GB. The battery has a capacity of 3300 mAh. This phone has received quite a lot of hype and that’s not for nothing. The huge screen comes with an ‘infinity display’ which is an absolute joy to look at. The dual lens camera in the back is the best in its class. The RAM also makes it a pretty powerful phone. It’s fairly pricey, but it’s absolutely worth the price, considering it comes SIM free. OnePlus 6
Tumblr media
This phone weighs 177 grams. It has dimensions of 155.7 mm by 75.4 mm by 7.8 mm. It runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo OS, It has a pretty large screen at 6.28 inches. The resolution is 1080 pixels by 2280 pixels. The CPU is a Snapdragon 845. The Ram is either 6 GB or 8 GB, both of which are very powerful. The storage comes in options of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. The battery has a capacity of 3300 mAh. There are two rear cameras with resolutions of 20MP and 16Mp while the selfie camera has a resolution of 16MP. It’s no doubt that this phone is one of the very best Android phones you could find on the market right now. If you judge your phones based on how good their cameras are, then the cameras on this phone will blow your mind. The rear camera in particular is spectacular. The performance as well as the design of this phone is pretty much in the same league as the iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy S9. The price, however, is much lower. iPhone 8
Tumblr media
The screen size on the iPhone 8 is 4.7 inches. This is smaller than the iPhone X but still respectable enough, especially for those who don’t like massive screens on their phones. The resolution on the screen is 750 pixels by 1334 pixels. The rear camera has a resolution of 12MP. The phone weighs a paltry 148 grams. The RAM is 2 GB and the storage comes in options of 64 GB and 256 GB. In the tradition of Apple phones, it does not accept any external storage. The battery has a relatively low capacity of 1821 mAh. The iPhone 8 is admittedly not the kind of phone that sends waves through the market. It’s basically just an iPhone 7 with a few tweaks and improvements here and there and maybe an upgrade or two. If you already have an iPhone 7, then we wouldn’t recommend that you get his phone. However, if you have an older phone then it’s probably a good options, especially if you feel like the iPhone X is far out of your budgetary range. Nokia 3310
Tumblr media
This phone weighs 79.6 grams. The dimensions are 115.6 mm by 51 mm by 12.8 mm. The screen size is 2.4 inches. The resolution on the screen is 320 pixels by 240 pixels. The RAM is 16 MB. The storage is also 16 MB. The battery has a capacity of 1200 mAh. It also comes with a 2MP rear camera. This is a great throwback. If you have a case of pure and unstoppable nostalgia then you have the necessary drive to get this classic. In fact, nostalgia is exactly the thing that makes this phone continue to fly off the shelves in large numbers. It definitely comes with a low price and it may just be the right phone to take with you when you go out partying or to attend events. It’s also a great phone to have in your bag for emergencies. It’s not a smartphone, granted, but it is the world famous Nokia 3310; the phone that made the game Snake famous! LG V30
Tumblr media
This phone has a screen size of 6 inches. The screen has a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2880 pixels. It has a rear camera with a resolution of 16 MP. It weighs 158 grams and runs on Android 8 Oreo. The RAM is 4 GB and the internal storage comes in options of 64 GB and 128 GB. It also accepts external storage of up to 512 GB. The battery has a capacity of 3300 mAh. Whenever we think of LG we think of its flagship G series of phones. However, the 2017 V30 is just as good and is a smartphone you should definitely consider. The screen resolution is definitely one of its great strengths. It’s also got great design and you immediately know you’re using something on the level of a Galaxy Note 8. It’s a little pricey, but you’ll love it. Honor 10
Tumblr media
This phone weighs 153 grams. The dimensions are 149.6 mm by 71.2 mm by 7.7 mm. It runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo OS. The screen has a size of 5.84 inches and a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2280 pixels. The CPU is the HiSilicon Kirin 970. It has RAM of 4 GB and storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB. The battery has a capacity of 3400 mAh. The rear camera has a dual lens. One lens is 24MP while the other is 16Mp. Meanwhile, the selfie camera is pretty strong with a resolution of 24MP. The Honor 10 is a pretty robust Android and, while relatively unknown, is beginning to grow popular. It’s a great improvement on what’s been there before and has some pretty impressive features. While it’s not going to outperform a Samsung Galaxy S9 or an LG G7, but all that is more than made up for by the combination of the killer cameras and the low price. Final Thoughts As you can see, the fact that you’re looking for a contract free phone doesn’t mean you have to settle for a low quality phone. There are plenty of premium SIM free options out there. You just have to know where to look. Read the full article

This eye-catching new phone out of China is a great example of where the future of smartphones is headed
Japanese electronics maker Sharp has revealed a new smartphone, the Aquos S2, that furthers the most dominant trend with modern smartphones: the death of the bezel.
In phone-speak, "bezels" are the borders around a smartphone’s display. On the iPhone 7 Plus in the above photo, for instance, they’re pretty sizable compared to those on the Aquos S2.
Over the past several months, however, various smartphone manufacturers have made it a point to shrink those borders. The idea is to make it so you have more display space for watching videos and playing games without lugging around a giant device.
Chinese phone maker Xiaomi shrunk the bezels of its Mi Mix phone late last year, while the most recent flagships from Samsung and LG have helped put this sort of design in people’s hands in the West. The first phone from Essential, a new startup led by Android co-creator Andy Rubin, looks set to eventually do the same. And if the rumor mill is to be believed, Apple’s upcoming "iPhone 8" will follow suit.
Years before all of them, though, Sharp made the idea a reality with its Aquos Crystal phone. Its new Aquos S2 is only on sale in China as of this writing, and it’s unlikely to ever make its way to the US. But with a starting price around $370, it shows what a more affordable tiny-bezel phone can look like.
Here’s a closer look:
SEE ALSO: Here's our first look at the mysterious $1,200 smartphone from RED, a company that makes cameras for blockbuster films
The Aquos S2 features a Snapdragon 630 processor, which is fairly middle-of-the-road in terms of power, along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
A higher-end model bumps that up to a slightly stronger Snapdragon 660 chip, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. That’ll cost closer to $520, but it isn't available just yet. Both models come with an okay-sized 3,020mAh battery and Android Nougat.
There’s a pair of cameras stacked on top of each other on the back — a configuration widely rumored to be used on the next iPhone. One is a 12-megapixel unit, the other is an 8-megapixel one.

Rs 30K battle: OnePlus 5 vs Honor 8 Pro
It’s not everyday the smartphone world offers you value-for-money flagship offerings. But when it happens, it becomes really difficult for a lot of consumers to make a choice. The launch of the OnePlus 5 and the Honor 8 Pro has led to one such situation, and it is leaving prospective buyers wondering which one to go for. But we suggest you to not worry as we are here to make that buying decision easier for you.
Read on to know which one is more worth your hard-earned money.
Design & Display
Let’s begin with what catches the attention first. From the looks alone, both the phones look pretty nice. They feature nice design, metallic finish, and a slim profile. While the OnePlus 5 in black carries a classic look, the Honor 8 in this shade of blue has a royal appeal. No wonder, both the phones tick the beauty box, but when it comes to the form factor, it’s the OnePlus 5 that has a slight edge over the Honor 8 Pro. The OnePlus 5 feels light in hand and offers easy handling.
While many of you might be okay with the build of the Honor 8 Pro, the fact is that it is slightly bulkier and heavier than the OnePlus 5. We wish it carried a compact body.
Well, looks and form factor are all fine, after all, it’s mostly cosmetic, but which one of the two has a more pleasing screen to the eyes? Both the 5.5-inch 1080p display on the OnePlus 5 and the 5.7-inch 2k display on the Honor 8 Pro produce great colours and offer excellent viewing angles. But the OnePlus 5 scores a little more, when it comes to the contrast ratio. Put it against the Honor 8 Pro, and you would find the whites are whiter and the blacks are blacker on the OnePlus 5.
All in all, the OnePlus 5 gets a little better of the Honor 8 Pro when it comes to the aesthetics and display appeal. And not to forget, the OnePlus 5 might remind you of the iPhone 7 plus, but take a closer look and you would realise that it is actually not a blatant rip-off.
Camera
As we always say, camera is an integral part of the smartphone. And therefore, we can’t leave this department without checking every room it houses.
We tested their cameras, clicked in daylight, snapped in indoors and tested them in different lighting conditions, to ascertain which of the two cameras has an edge over the other. But before we begin, we must tell you that a dual-camera setup is slowly becoming a mainstream feature on flagship devices. And in line with the trend, both the Honor 8 Pro and the OnePlus 5 come with dual lenses at the back. While in the OnePlus 5, the primary camera has a 16 megapixel sensor and the secondary 20 megapixel, the Honor 8 includes two 12 megapixel sensors. Both the phones have a dual-camera setup, but how they work is pretty different.
Without leaving you stranded in the world of technicalities, we would like to take you straight to which has a better camera and why.
Both the rear cameras generate sharp details, capture good amount of light and produce bright images, but on comparing the results of two cameras, you realise that the OnePlus 5 reproduces more vivid colours than the Honor 8 Pro. But when it comes to low-light environments, the Honor 8 Pro handles it a bit better. And you must know that the focus on both the phones sets really fast.
And how can we miss the selfie camera. After all, self love is the best love, no? (Don’t mistake it for narcissism, please).
While front cameras on both the phones capture fair enough photos, even in room-light conditions, but it’s the OnePlus 5 that is slightly more sensitive to light than the Honor 8 Pro. But at the same time, the Honor 8’s front camera gets one better of the OnePlus 5 by clicking relatively sharper images. And taking about their other capabilities, both the cameras are almost at par and offer a host of customisations options to make the most of the smartphone camera.
But the disappointment here is that the camera in both the Honor 8 Pro and the OnePlus 5 lack the much-needed optical image stabilisation.
The bottomline is that it’s a neck-and-neck fight between the two cameras. But considering everything right from detailing to light sensitivity to colour reproduction, the Honor 8 Pro wins the camera battle by a few points.
Performance
In the end, everything just comes down to speed and power. So, now the question that pops up is which one of the two scores more on the performance front?
No wonder both the phones are packed with powerful features. If the Oneplus 5 has top-of-the-line Snapdragon 835 processor with an option of 6GB and 8GB RAM, the Honor 8 Pro comes with the cutting-edge Kirin 960 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. But again, numbers can only be an indicator - and not a true reflector.
But having used both the phones, we can say that we didn’t have to struggle with any of them. Our experience with both the phones was pretty smooth. Whether it was multitasking, watching high-definition videos or killing time by playing heavy games, it was a great experience. And another good part is that even after hours of usage, none of the phone actually heats up abnormally.
While both the phones are based on Android nougat, it’s the OnePlus 5 that offers a much neater interface. I think Honor should just pay a little more heed to that.
Also, the speaker on the OnePlus 5 blares noticeably loud audio results than the Honor 8 Pro. And it’s just not the loudness, the quality of the audio is also better on the OnePlus 5 when you pit it against the Honor 8 Pro.
While the battery in the Honor 8 Pro is bigger than that in the OnePlus 5, both the phones lasted for almost the same amount of time. Like with moderate usage, they easily survived for a day on a single charge. And the fast charging on the OnePlus 5 actually gives around 75 per cent of juice in just half-an-hour.
Verdict
And here comes the final question -  which one to buy?
The Honor 8 is a good phone. In fact, at Rs 29,999, it gives you 128GB of storage with 6GB of RAM. The OnePlus 5, on the other hand, offers 64GB of onboard memory with the same amount of RAM at Rs 32,999.  The 128 GB OnePlus 5 with 8GB of RAM, however, costs Rs 37,999. No wonder, the Honor 8 Pro comes across as a better value-for-money deal, but using a phone is about having a great overall experience. And this is where the OnePlus 5 is ahead of the Honor 8 Pro as it offers a better mix of hardware and software than the Honor 8 Pro. And therefore, we would say, spend a couple of thousands more and opt for the OnePlus 5.

LG G8 ThinQ Design and Display Coming to the design, LG G8 looks like your usual LG flagship phone with a nice attractive design. Actually, this phone has flagship specs and good cameras. Here’s what’s new, and what’s not new, in Microsoft’s latest Surface Pro (MSFT)
Microsoft on Tuesday launched its latest Surface Pro. It’s called, well, the Surface Pro, and it’s the first refresh to the company’s popular line of hybrid PCs since October 2015.
But aside from the lack of a number in its name, there aren’t many major differences to the new Surface Pro model.
If anything, the most interesting shift is that Microsoft is avoiding any talk of the Surface Pro being a tablet in the first place; the company now refers to the device as a “versatile laptop” (rather than “the tablet that can replace your laptop”), nudging it alongside more traditional clamshells instead of in some niche category.
Whatever you want to call it, the new model may not make it immediately obvious if Surface Pro 4 owners who’ve been patiently waiting for an upgrade should take the plunge right away.
I was able to use the new Surface Pro for a short while prior to Tuesday’s launch, so if you’re on the fence, here’s a quick rundown and what is and isn’t new:
The idea behind the new Surface Pro is exactly like its predecessors. It’s still a big tablet running Windows 10 that you can connect to a keyboard and use like a laptop.
That means it’s still lighter and easier to carry around than most full-size laptops. It's still not as comfortable on your lap as a traditional notebook. And Windows 10 still plays much nicer with desktop-style work than tablet-style apps. (Hence Microsoft’s change in marketing.)
The display is virtually identical to before. It’s still 12.3 inches big, with a sharp resolution of 2736 x 1824 and a squarish 3:2 aspect ratio. The Surface Pro 4’s screen was good, and this looks the same. Just don’t expect any 4K video or shrunken-down bezels a la Dell’s XPS 13.
Its corners are slightly more curved, but generally speaking the new Surface Pro looks and feels very similar to the Surface Pro 4. You’d likely have a hard time telling the two apart at first. It’s not the flashiest device around, but its magnesium finish still feels smooth, study, and suitably high-end.
The new model is the exact same size as the Surface Pro 4: 11.50 x 7.9 x 0.33 inches. It’s still huge if you look at it as a tablet, but not a big burden if you look at it like a laptop. Some of the new models are a hair lighter than before, but really not by much.
The main difference is that you can push the kickstand on the back of the new Surface Pro much further. Microsoft says this model can now lean back as far as 165 degrees. That doesn’t make it any easier to use on your lap, but it could make it easier to use as a digital canvas, a la the Surface Studio.
The other main difference is that two-entry level models are fanless. That means they should make less noise in operation than before. The little vents you’d see on the back of every Surface Pro 4 aren’t around on the non-Core-i7 models here.
The chipset has gotten the expected bump, going from the 6th-generation Intel Core chips on the Surface Pro 4 to 7th-generation Intel Core chips here. The jump from “Skylake” to “Kaby Lake,” as the they're called, isn’t all that big, but it’s a bit more efficient and powerful all the same. The integrated graphics have received the same generational update with them.
You still get an okay Core m3 chip with the cheapest model, then stronger Core i5 and Core i7 chips as you go up the price ladder. You’ll get either 4 GB, 8 GB, or 16 GB of RAM, as well as 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of storage.
The biggest technical improvement, if Microsoft’s claims are true, should be battery life. The company says the new Surface Pro can get up to 13.5 hours of juice. It used to market 9 hours with the Surface Pro 4. Per usual, take the proclamation with a grain of salt until we can test further, but, at least with some models, the new Surface Pro should last longer than before.
The port situation, however, is exactly the same. You’ve still got Microsoft’s proprietary, MagSafe-like charging port, a mini DisplayPort, one USB 3.0 port, a microSD card, and a headphone jack.
That, notably, means there’s no USB-C (or Thunderbolt 3) ports. Microsoft reps said they don’t think the newer standard — which could theoretically let you use one cable for all your devices — is ready for prime time just yet, pointing to the fact that not all USB-C ports and cables support the same level of power. The company will release a USB-C dongle later in the year, however.
One thing that will be added is LTE support, which’ll let some Surface Pro buyers connect to mobile internet on the go. This won’t be available right out of the gate, though — Microsoft only says it’ll release certain LTE models sometime later in the year.
Perhaps the most dramatic changes here are with the Surface Pen, which Microsoft says is four times as pressure-sensitive as the old model. So, it should be more precise and nuanced. The company says it’s fine-tuned the Pen to be particularly smooth on the new Surface Pro — I saw a little lag in my pre-production unit — but in general it’s still a tool for artists and designers more than the typical PC buyer.
The catch is that the new Surface Pen doesn’t come with your purchase, as the last one did. Instead, you can only buy it as a $99 accessory. That’s on top of the keyboard, which has always been sold separately, and still starts at $129. Other keyboards made from alcantara fabric go for $159.
The Type Cover keyboard looks almost identical to those made for the Surface Pro 4, but is slightly clickier than before. It’s nothing major, but it’s something. Those keyboards, like the Pen, can work with the older model, though.
All of this is still pricey. The new Surface Pro starts at $799, just like the last one, but only comes with a Core m3 chip, 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage. Everything starts shipping on June 15.
The best configuration for most is likely the $1,299 model, which has a Core i5 chip, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage. Add the keyboard on top of that, and you’re up around $1,420. There are decent 2-in-1s and great standard laptops that go for less than that, so you’re still paying a bit for the brand.
Microsoft is eventually going to phase the Surface Pro 4 out — most models are discounted as of this writing — so if you’re a loyal Surface user, you may have no choice but to upgrade eventually.
Right now, though, the new Surface Pro mainly looks like your everyday spec refresh. There’s no grand rethinking that fixes the 2-in-1’s fundamental problems, so if you have a Surface Pro 4 that’s still kicking fine, there’s little here that immediately screams “drop everything and buy me.”
If the time comes, though, the big upgrades will likely be in battery life and the lack of noise with the fanless models. If you love the Pen, the upgraded stylus and more flexible hinge should help, too. If you’re sitting on a Surface Pro 3, then the performance boost is probably enough to upgrade sooner.
In any case, we’ll have a full review of the new Surface Pro in the coming weeks, so expect a final verdict then.
